Well unfortunately we can't stop them behaving like this, the Indian police apparently can't stop them either.
Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata Metros are the ones with Chinese trains right?

New Recruit
Well European people don't mind to stand with each other. I am living in United Kingdom from like 7 or 8 years, and UK's public transport like underground trains are running from the last 150 years and they upgrade there trains every year or so and no one demands separate section for womens. And i dont think so they will especially introduce womens sections are here. And i havent seen anything in other European countries as well.

The next video = bollywood actress molested in public.

Some nasty perverted mindset people who enjoy political point scoring over molestation of Indian women may wish that, but there is the other side of the coinUnfortunately the Indian police apparently can't stop them either.
In HK and the rest of China we don't have separate compartments for men and women either.
People just expect passengers to behave like civilized human beings. Nobody expects them to suddenly start molesting/eve teasing women as soon as the opportunity arises, that is really disturbing behavior.
Last year, a survey from the China-based Canton Public Opinion Research Center showed 31% of 1,500 Chinese women surveyed reported a rise in sexual harassment, with many of them saying harassment occurred mainly on public transportation.
The idea appears to have public support. In an unscientific online survey of more than 8,500 voters conducted by Sina news portal, roughly 64% of respondents said they thought female-only subway cars were a good idea; 28% were against it and around 8% said they didn’t care. The survey didn’t offer a breakdown of male and female votes.
