Nonsense. Southern parts of Vietnam are more developed and richer than the Northern. Saigon GDP per capita for instance is approaching 10,000 USD. China is seen as rich by yourself but if comparing to other, you are poor. Just few Vietnamese work in China, most go to other rich nations as Germany and Japan.
