Yes, but even right now China is developing something better then PL-15. They have the budget and scientific skills to win this race in the longer run. If J-20s are carrying PL-15 now, in 10 years they will have something new.

Also worth noting IAF's reserves of Meteor will be limited and only carried by 36 planes. PLAAF will have massive amounts of PL-15s carried by 600+ fighters.....

Even so, the French ones will be relatively new. Qatar got 36 Rafales for $8 billion. A whopping $2.5 Billion less than India and we can both be certain they would of got a similar weapons/training package to India and bought the best. Do you even read "bruh"!?
