What Chinese lack is confidence. Always thinking west is best in everything. It's a form of inferiority complex aka. sick men of Asia. Only they will truly innovate is if there is a total ban on high-tech stuff to China. Imagine if Boeing banned airplanes to China. Do you know how fast China will produce airplanes and perfect turbofan engines?? I know Chinese mentality, it need to change.

Is that possible Huawei only saying nice things and what the west gov't wan to hear, since Huawei has been beaten pretty bad recently?

I don't know what that has to do with this thread. But going back to the thread I hear alot of Chinese saying private companies aare better than SOE. I don't have to tell you Chinese SOE are responsible for some of their biggest innovations yet. Look at the military, quantum computing, etc. No Chinese private companies can achieve this without getting big funding from government.


Never heard executives talk that their company is second best, especially in an interview. They would be fired in the west. This lady executive would definitely fail as executives in any western company
