I think the biggest problem lies in US education system. No money, no good education. Poor people are locked class because their children can only be educated in US public schools, which only produce gullible voters. US high tech companies can not survive without importing talents from other countries.
Not no monies. Public funding of US students remains very high at USD13k per students if we compared to Germany (9000 Euro) or other OECD.
But 水很深 devil is in detail。
While the education activities is well funded, many of the monies dont benefit students. It become salary or other corruption.
Also US elites deliberately destroy their basic education destroying all objective admission criterion in order to let elite have a free ride. If we use France as an example, France has the ultra rigorous prep schools and elite institution while very nepotism still has a lot of objective meritocracy components.
Meritocracy is now very much absence in most US elite college admission. And even when there are vaccanies in MIT or harvard after elites got their share, the US elites prepare to give the rest to perverts, blacks and feminazi.
I guess US elites is fearful of peasant class high IQ members.
