Myarmar is not Pakistan bro,I am not support this corridor considering burma is not trustworthy government for china!
A port route through Myanmar would be much easier access to SW China. Connecting to Yunnan. A route through Pakistan is very remote and far from the primary commercial centers of China.
Myanmar is a Buddhist country. It is much more aligned with eastern culture than your all weather friend

Historically Myanmar is China tributary states. China will not allow Myanmar to fall into Hindusphere.

If there is no western interference, everything will be fine. But the problem is the West always think of plot to contain China all day all night. They pour money to make fake news to influence Burmese people and turn them to against China like recent years. These fake news topics mostly on debt, environment, etc.. Burma technology is too weak to block these fake news. In addition to that, India always try to interfere Myanmar. So the risk of silk road through Myanmar is very high.
