How to improve/regain image of the Pakistan Armed Forces?

I was hoping that Pakistanies may give ideas on how Pakistan Armed forces can regain the status they enjoyed before musharraf regime?

some promotional strategies would be nice and practical unlike suggesting breaking ties with America etc.

like the program of Dawn news We are Soldiers, what would you suggest that Army's ISPR should do? maybe they see this and act for their Image.

like the one day honour given to Naima, A day with Armed forces program by selecting kids from different schools through some sort of competition would be a good idea for ISPR to work on!

Pakistan Armed Forces must work for Pakistan's long-term interests not other country's long-term interests. And they must protect all Pakistanis from FATA to Karachi. And they must treat their own Pakistani people will respect, not foreigners who dont give a damn what happens to Pakistan.

before i put my words here I love my army ISI Pakistan very much but i feel these things must get better.
some points in my openion.
1. show to the people that the army is not US or any others servent.
2. stop giving the general plots about crores at their retirment.
3. transparancy in the funds of army. (only for parliament.)
4. stop treating civilians like animals. (when ever i go to cantt: area it looks like i am going to india or comming from india)
5. the diffrence betwen an ordinanry army man and a high ranks must be minimised as much as possible. ( an ordinary army man gets very low pay, and just runs his family hand to mouth. but high ranks enjoy luxries.
6. people feel that army is some upper cast and they are lower cast.

i feel these things.

Pak Forces are Pride of Pakistan & therefore they should only work for interest of Pakistan.

It is better to make other outsider angry than to make people of same soil who are brothers & sons of same motherland.

there should be "learning sessions" regarding Ethics and Moral values, not only among the officers, but also among the soldiers, which I think is very necessary when Asymmetric warfare is being fought.

actually its not like that... they are trained to kill and develop operational level strategies, this is what army is for, unfortunately the army has only found one enemy of pakistan that is pakistanis, be it the tribal, Bangali, Balouch or urdu speaking...

and because of the overdeveloped state structure and undue influence of armed forces, our diplomacy has failed, and we are left alone in this world...

yes pakistan should have a military base in canada from where it can launch offensives with its F 16's.

When our local security forces fail, Army is invited to do operations. Well, i dont know what made your belief that we are left alone in the world? Just bcaz of US? Everyone is with us except US tola.

the word "invited" is quite difficult to digest...anyways, what type of relations do you have with Malyasia, Indonesia, Iran, Japan ? compare the progress with India's relations with some of the mentioned and other countries, a comparative analysis would help you better understand the grave situation we are under.
