how to improve number of push ups

i can do pushups but i cant go all the way down, 0°

I used to have the same in my early teens. Let me guess... If you attempt a propwe one, you fall?

Take it slowly, work your way up, you aren't going to get it over night.
Try doing it as proper as you can without collapsing, block out the pain. Try to push yourself a little further everyday. You'll get there soon enough.

It is normal, most people can't do a push up. Try doing a push up just using upper body, with thighs laying flat. Do as many as you can everyday. Then try to do a normal push with see if you can do 1 or 2 or 3. Then keep doing 1, 2 or 3 and try to increase it every time.

Work on building upper body strength. Planks are very beneficial when building a strong core, nutrition is also a key factor. Hit the gym, and work on building muscle. Until then practice doing pushups on your knees. It may seem silly at first, but it will help you gain muscle and overall strength.

Your not going to become Arnold Schwarzenegger overnight.

For maximum benefits use FIT. Every set you do change up the Frequency Intensity, Time.

Week 1: (1 day rest between exercise) Day 1,2,3: 3 sets each 3 push ups below max. Each Day subtract the 'forgiven' push up
Week 2: (1 day rest between exercise) Day 1,2,3: 4 sets each 4 push ups below max. Each Day subtract the 'forgiven' push up
Week 3: (1 day rest between exercise) Day 1,2,3,4: 4 sets each 1 push ups below max. Each Day subtract the 'forgiven' push up, then add.
Week 4: (1 day rest between exercise) Day 1,2,3: 3 sets each 3 push ups below max. Real Push-ups & subtract
Week 4: (1 day rest between exercise) Day 1,2,3,4: 4 sets each 1 push ups below max. Real Push-ups & subtract

Have a friend spot you.

These are just push ups, its advisable to work groups of muscles at beginning of exercise then focus on individual. Ex. Bench press, then biceps/ triceps.

Honestly, only a few days, less than a week to get my push up technique up to scratch.
if you push yourself enough. but I didn't do push ups alone.

I did a lot of other upper body work at the same time. Lots of core strength building too.
But while you do all that upper body work, don't forget to do lower and back and legs, it is essential.

And as for technique, that you should learn before even attempting proper push ups.

Make sure your hands aren't too close together or too far apart. They should be just a bit wider than your shoulders.
Keep your self angled properly from the ground. Lead in with your chest rather than head and push out your abs.

That's about it really.

haleem is nice idea great advice, oil to use nahi hota na haleem me?
