as far as for staying fit, i would reccomend p90X program.
You said you have a camera and you go to the airport. how about trying something different, try different subject matter for you collections instead of aircrafts. might be fun ... just a suggestion.
learning boxing is not a bad idea. it will take care of all you fitness goals. i was a boxer when i was in engineering college in india and it was a lot of fun.
again for fitness, if you can cook , try to cook healthy, there are lots of benefits compared to restaurant food.
the most recent hobby i have taken to is shooting.
6 months ago i was going through similar routine life, i started playing beach volleyball and soccer seriously, now fitness regime takes a huge amount of time on weekdays, weekends are reserved for shooting.
ok i get some ideas lets see what i will keep with me yaar
only problem i think is i drive to home after finish duty and never leave my bed and lappi till sleep this damn habit should be over now

Ps pick up a sport work out goto pubs and bars make new friends get a membership of a club play snoker
