How to beat the "1971Civil War " Psychological Syndrome !

In between from 1972-1978 India aggressively demanded resumption of post, telegraph, phone, rail and air travel links as well as opening of the consular offices.

India also demanded transit rights to Afghanistan.
India is not satisfied only with a quiet peaceful border. It wants a big brother status.
Its not just "no war " but a peace on India's terms.
How is seeking connectivity and trade ties amounting to big brother status and peace on India's terms. Does Pakistan have a pathological fear of trade and prosperity?

Pakistan would be happy to settle the border like North and South Korea or like East and West Germany. No war. No terrorism and separation. North and South Korea are an ideal model to follow.
You want to be the hermit North Korea, go ahead. But dont go poking South with your special operatives please. And dont mind if we circumvente a route to beyond your lands, that does a collateral damage on your marquee project.

By that statement you just proved that issues between Pakistan abd India go beyond J & K which is merely a territorial dispute. Even if we give way or lose Azad Kashmir in a war, India will always want something else. Post-1972 Simla Agreement we had closed our embassy indefinitely and we didn't even submit to the threat of delayed release of our POWs ( we held 617 Indian POWs also ) .
Our pathological fear is getting subsumed by India, We have trade and connectivity with China, Afghanistan, Iran Turkey and beyond.

So far as India is concerned, yes we want to be a North Korea.
If you strike us as on February 26th 2019 . you will be struck back.
Get another route to Afghanistan ( if you can ), It is a rather long shipping time to Uzbekistan.

So yes, no consular service, no phone, no rail links, no road links

I am having a distinct feeling that you are hardening your stance on this thread to prove your nationalistic credentials to fellow Pakistanis, lest they reject you.
Anyways, its not like we are saying do trade or else. Trade is obviously mutually beneficial. Many items arrive in Pakistan from India via Middle east. Its a loss to both India and Pakistan and a win for the Gulf.

Regarding your trade with China - a single highway on mountain passes - I wonder how much overland trade you are having by that route
Trade with Afghanistan - the country has demanded 2 way transit trade with India through Pak - and that is Afg's condition for allowing your transit trade with Central Asia through Afg. So will you lose out on Turkey and beyond thing.
Your relations with Iran are not all hunky dory. With the sensible Biden admin in place, Chhabahar will be back on track, which means Gwadar's fortunes in jeopardy.

In the mountains, defensive war is a lot easier than winning ground by attacking. We both agree that neither taking Pak Kashmir will be easy nor can you win Indian Kashmir militarily.
So, why not make de-jure what is de-facto ?

Your thinking is very pre 2014.

Open your eyes.

Speak to some soldiers if you know any.

I am reminded of a poster of the US Navy ...

Sometimes we rush in after the storm.

Sometimes we are the storm.

Jai Hind.

Cheers, Doc

We can agree to disagree

We can do anything here.

What will be will be.

Talk to soldiers if you know any.

Cheers, Doc
I will leave them to their work. You can let me know since you seemingly had some military tactics discussion with them.

If I did, would I be discussing them on a Pakistani forum.

Slow day?

Cheers, Doc

I am not getting the reference. May be it aired before my time.
I think it's a reference towards Mahatma Gandhi but I might be wrong, just guessing.

Instrument of Surrender was signed to Indian commander.
To the commander of Bangladeshi-Indian allied forces. You can tag Bangladeshi members and ask them for more details.
