Since 2009, the price of solar energy has come down by 90 percent. That’s no accident. It’s the result of policy interventions from the US to Germany to China.

As policy analyst Gregory Nemet puts it, “No one country is responsible. It was a relay race rather than a competition.” The global flow of knowledge, people, technology, and policy helped bring down the price per watt from more than $100 in 1976 to less than $0.50 today, according to this analysis from the folks at Our World in Data. https://ourworldindata.org/cheap-rene...

If we can learn the right lessons from solar’s success, it could help us develop and deploy the technology we need to keep our planet habitable and avoid the worst impacts of climate change.

. . .
it use to be 60 rs per watt but now its 120rs per watt
Depreciation. I wanted to buy some panels and go solar last year but kept waiting for Shehbaz sharif's "Solar policy" to take effect and see if it got cheaper. what a chutiya thing to do to have any hopes from these kanjars

Wow, it's amazing to see how much the price of solar energy has decreased since 2009! As a pro-environmentalist, I'm always looking for ways to reduce my carbon footprint, and solar energy seems like a great option. However, I have noticed that solar panels can still be pretty expensive in some cases. That's why I was excited to recently discover ground level solar panels, which can be a more cost-effective option. I found a great resource for these panels at https://www.dragonsbreathsolar.co.uk/product-category/k2-solar-fixings/ground-mounted-solar-kits/. It's great to know that policy interventions and global cooperation have helped to make solar energy more affordable and accessible. By the way, I'm new to this forum and excited to be part of the conversation.
