How secure is this website ?

In last few days , I have come across many sites , that have secure written before the web address .
But this website isn't secure based on that .
For last few days , I get a sort of error which changes the GUI of this website .
It always happens , when I am writing a reply .

I think , Some kind of hacking is going on . So is it safe ?

Well, unless you plan on giving your credit card info here, I think it is secure to a good degree. Although securing it further could be a good move. I believe this forum is protected from DDOS type attacks using cloudflare.

Sir the bottom line,

no matter how many security certificates a website installs, it does remain prone to security issues. It is true for all the websites otherwise no government websites would have been hacked every week. But it is also true we have installed enough security checks so that it is not easy for someone to hack the website. We also have regular back ups and hardly any data would be lost in case of such attack.

What you need to remember is, all your personal details are encrypted and no matter what happens to the site, it remains secure and cannot be decoded.

This is not a epayment based site to secure top to down....
Even stealing data is not going to hurt anyone. Only DDoS attacks would be suitable for this sites... i believe they've already experienced it and have backup plans

Dude... a big gaint called dyn (service providers) site was taken down by Ddos attack which resulted the complete shutdown of internet in full east coast of US in Oct. Those guys have their own solutions against DDOS and have HA. Even when their sites are being brought down how hard it'll for PDF which rely on cloud flare! !!
