Karimganj, Hailakandi in Barak valley and Goalpara, Dhubri, Barpeta in Lower Assam are Muslim majority areas and should have come to East Pakistan in 1947. But Radcliffe unjustifiably rewarded those Muslim majority districts to India. These Muslims are opening business in Dimapur and other seven sisters states. If Indians don't want Muslims of Assam going to other states, then should hand over those Muslim majority districts of Assam to Bangladesh to achieve a fair partition. Same with West Bengal, hand over Murshidabad, Malda, Nadia district which was included in West Bengal despite being Muslim majority, thus increasing Muslim percentage in West Bengal. There is no scope to brand those indigenous Muslims of those districts as illegal Bangladeshi. We do not brand our Hindu population as 'illegal Indians'.
