And they would say if CPEC got Indians worried then it must be good. I mean what logic.

actually, people were branded as traitors when they criticized CPEC, or indian agents, as usual. and, again as usual, the military stood and watched and even supported this debt trap.
Criticism is good however when people take party lines they shoot themselves in the foot and their argument is flawed before it startsactually, people were branded as traitors when they criticized CPEC, or indian agents, as usual. and, again as usual, the military stood and watched and even supported this debt trap.
I know it is easy to criticize, but PTI's recent acts have not exactly inspired confidence. IK always looks at things from an incorrect perspective and then thinks that he is right, refusing to listen to saner voices. with idiots like swati, fawad, vawda, khattak, and sheikh rasheed running around, no wonder PTI's performance has been an abysmal one.I think people who will say anything to propagate a family like PmLn or PPP should be shot.
Ik is doing his best. And it's very easy to criticise but what have YOU done for Pakistan other than sit and moan
MashAllah you have the ability to analyse.I know it is easy to criticize, but PTI's recent acts have not exactly inspired confidence. None of the ministers mentioned above are interested in improving their ministries etc. all of them are in it for the protocol and opportunities to show-off that being a minister brings with it. most of the MNAs want a ministry or chairmanship of an organization, none of them wants to be involved in policy making, and like MNAs of the past they are only interested in paving gutters in their respective constituencies and posting their photos over the said gutters (a job best left to local bodies).
lastly, want to control expenses? sell controlling shares of all discos, pia, railways, postal services. improve the transmission and distribution pipeline. apply strict regulations on existing industries. rent out huge bungalows being awarded to civil servants to private citizens at market prices. rent out bungalows awarded to generals and judges to citizens. end all unnecessary perks being awarded to past PMs, presidents, judges and generals after retirement. And for God's sake, revisit PPRA, the entire process of govt procurement leaks tonnes of money. the list goes on and on...
i cannot, it is not my job to make and implement policies, i can only comment on such policies, and propose projects that may help in the future. it is the job of the people sitting in the assemblies, and in PM and president houses, getting paid from tax money of the public and getting fat on it.MashAllah you have the ability to analyse.
Now will you take this skill and use it to assist in the development of Pakistan or will you just point fingers
Come on. That's a cop out and you know it.i cannot, it is not my job to make and implement policies, i can only comment on such policies, and propose projects that may help in the future. it is the job of the people sitting in the assemblies, and in PM and president houses, getting paid from tax money of the public and getting fat on it.
I had this Patwari saying to me Pakistan ka sara qarza 1 second me sirf roads ki waja se wapis ho jaye ga
Bahi how much more we are paying for electricity due to expansive projects of Noonie bau ? He put a solar plant in desert of Bhawalpur which in the dusty environment reduced efficiency from 80% to 40%
Yes pmln govt fooled us, and so did mqm or ppp. But I don't think that pti can fool us for long time.Going through an article from 2017 on Reuters, I was stunned to find chief economist of the planning ministry in Pmln govt was projecting 6-8 billion dollar revenues from Cpec by 2020
Moreover, same chief economist calculated that Pakistan won't be facing a balance of payment crisis, because revenues from Cpec would be sufficient enough to balance out the debt and deficits caused by Cpec
Pakistan's 'Silk Road' repayments to peak at around $5 billion a year: chief economist
Pakistan's debt and other repayments on China's "Belt and Road" initiative will peak at around $5 billion in 2022, but will be more than offset by transit fees charged on the new transport corridor, says the Pakistan government's chief economist.www.reuters.com
So there you have it. The most experienced govt in history of Pakistan gave us the worst balance of payment crisis only a year later due to their gross miscalculation. What kind of idiots had we working in the planning ministry who made such off the mark predictions? And what kind of bestest govt believed and sold these lies to gullible masses that Cpec is their savior?

Well not cheap enoughThe projects setup under PMLN government are producing cheaper electricity than the power plants setup under PPP (1994 policy)or Musharraf government (2002 policy).
