How people perceive and think about ties with India

Based on vast experience in dealing with Indians. At every opportunity they shoot at us and undermine us. I think good enough grounds for hate.

Again, I'm assuming you are talking about your own experiences.

Please get rid of that 'victim' mentality. Thankfully, the poll has showed that is restricted to only a few.

I never knew that in any free market buyers having lots of money can be so Stupid and moron to buy products from sellers despite of knowing that the products are POOR QUALITY & Shoddy. Only case when it would happen will be when the buyer is a SCRAP Dealer.

So, by your own logic, BD is actually a scrap dealer which buy SCRAP from India. Now everybody know what your country do with that rejected Scrap.

BY buying some shoddy products from India, we are just helping the Indian poors. In the same way by buying our high class internationally competitive products, the USA is also helping us. You better try and sell your low quality products to other countries. Those countries will not buy your goods even if you send them at even freight cost.

If I not mistaken India is the nation of whiners. You whine against Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc ..... You whine about Maoist and Islamist insurgents ...... I never said Bangladeshis have a victim mentality. I said you specifically have a victim mentality. It'll be better for you if you said something constructive instead of moaning around.

India has those problems, but those are it's internal problems. They are not an excuse for us to not progress. We want cooperation from our neighbours so that all of us can progress, together. We believe that 2+2 can become 5, but 2-2 will always be Zero.

We are victim of BSF killing and Water stealing and other problems by India. If India would be in our situation then God knows how would they react. Bangladeshis still buy Indian products but I doubt whether Indians would buy our products or not if they were in our situation.

If we stop import from India, more than 10 million Indian will die of starvation, and here a stupid Indian like you is telling the just opposite thing. Go and sell your $3.5 billion per year export to other countries.

On the other hand, if we do not export $3.5 billion to the USA, a similar number people will suffer. Do you get the picture? We are feeding Indian poors.

Even if you are not from a business family or even if you did not do your PhD in economics, you are supposed to know that it is not seller's market, it is buyer's market. BD is the buyer and have enough money to help out a third world poor country called India by buying its shoddy products.

If India decides not to sell its poor quality goods, we can purchase them from any other country. Because we have money. Indians should be grateful to us, same as we are grateful to the USA for it to purchase our goods.

U need to open your eyes a bit.Trade is generated if there is demand.Its demand and supply,pure business,not charity.Around 15% of Bangladeshi imports come from India,whereas Bangladeshi products account for less than 1% of Indian imports.

It is not like Bangladesh is importing goods to do a favour,it is doing so because the requirement cannot be made domestically.U dont need to be from a business family or a PhD in economics to understand that.The situation is rather quite opposite to your perception.Infact,its Bangladesh which needs loans from India.

We do. BD is not the only country trading with us.was that tough to guess ??

unfortunately thats not the case my friend...we export our goods to many countries and they buy are low quality goods very happily and pay at their normal price. sad I know.

We pay good money to buy things, but you manage to do business with us by polluting our politicans and because of close proximity, and nothing else. You sell to us, then you do not buy from us. You say you have opened your doors, but, at the same time, you keep the doors closed by the use of many UNWRITTEN rules.

Good to see the stats, its quite evident from my interaction with real bangladeshis that they are quite friendly towards indians.

I will use them against any one with a dishonest mind. Most of the Indians I have found in this Forum are very tricky. Fight against us directly like a tiger, we are ready to face you. But, Indians like treachery and dirty politics. You are just like snakes, who come from behind and bite.

If you want respect from us, then first respect us. You respect Pakistan because they are able to take a fight to the Indian land. But, not BD, unfortunately. So, you respect someone who can annihilate you. But, you will see how Indian bullying is strengthening our nationalisim, and making our nation economically and militarily stronger.
