Apparently, India is not happy discussing Kashmir

India will not give up the Kashmir that it holds. That will be the biggest political suicide for the century for any ruling political party. That's the bottom line I can tell you both.

My own POV is a bit extremist types, but that does not matter, leave that.. So, what do you guys think can be a feasible solution ?

I agree part of our media act like an Immature kid, but then attributing the failure of peace between us on Indian media will be as stupid as it can get...... The change in Indian media is very recent..... (may be with the surge in 24/7 channels and their quest for TRP) We have been fighting with each other ever sinse 1947...... Let us not forget there are agencies who does the part of Indian media in Pakistan.....

You are looking at only one point of view, where as i am trying to see both point of view.... The gestures were not only coming from one side, but other side also...... What ever gained during Ufa was screwed by both the sides..... I see lot of issue on Pakistani side, with some issues on Indian side ....

Pakistan's issue has been simple, It can't keep Kashmir out of the talks. Whereas India's issue as far as I understand is that Modi want to play to the gallery. After bashing Pakistan before and after his election campaign, he doesn't want to embarrass himself by taking a U turn.

The biggest threat to peace between India and Pakistan is sensationalist Indian media!

It does not wants to India to have peace with Pakistan because who will watch their silly commentary then.

Why bring in the Kashmir issue when it was never agreed upon during the UFA meet?
I don't know why you people can't see it but your NSA is clearly diverting from the subject matter to be discussed about to derail the talks. It was so obvious, during the interview he continuously mentioned almost after every sentence how what he'll do after the talks are derailed, as if expecting it.
As of Nov 2010 UN has removed J&K from its list of disputed territories, why is Sartaz Aziz even crying about it now. Total waste of time and energy.

Neither side is going to give up on whatever piece of land they hold. That is understood.

But refusing to even discuss the matter and squashing any chance of development on the issue, is a bit childish imo.
There will be no solution if India keeps refusing to even bring up the K-word.

Let us atleast ackowledge that the problem exists and increase people-people exchange. It will be a good first step for Pakistanis and Indians to visit the other and see for themselves. Instead of relying on talk shows for information, let them judge for themselves. What do you think?

Indian members are debating on this thread brilliantly so lets hope that a troll doesn't jumps up and we stay on point.How come Mumbai attacks were discussed in Ufa but not Samjhota Express Or Kashmir issue.Nawaz Sharif did a big mistake to attend those talks and not take up the Kashmir issue for which he was badly criticized here in Pakistan by both Media and People so this time he is not going to make same mistake.Which is obviously better for Pakistan and bitter for those Indian analysts who were thinking after Ufa talks that Kashmir issue is now permanently under the bed and Pakistan won't talk about it now.
