How Northeast India Was Christianised In The Last 100 Years

The only solution to this is to stop any kind of foreign funding for all religions. All religious bodies need to raise the resources locally which would stop all these problems. But I don't think any Indian government would have the guts to do this.

Freedom to convert to any religion is a fundamental right and that is something that shouldn't be tampered with.

But our governments want to stop conversions while leaving the root cause of foreign funding for religious conversion.

Conversion should not involve any money at all. The funding to any religious place which takes up conversion should be public and monitored.
Conversion should be process oriented with a cool off period.
People should register to convert their religion and then after the cool off period change it.
Otherwise it is just kids play.

Same crap. Same rule.
Question to you though... why do you want to debate your own? I'm sure the other side can come up with the same argument.

I'm saying no money for any religious activity should be allowed from foreign shores. Once this is stopped money used for conversions would automatically stop.

Already there is a law which prohibits use of money for conversion but it isn't functional.

Cooling off period I think is a good solution but the money needs to be stopped

lets start gher wapsi part-2 ???

Freedom of conversion should be totally allowed between any religions

The only issue is using money to lure people to convert.

Ghar wapasi by itself wasn't wrong. The way it was done was definitely not correct since it was done to score political points by the right wingers
