We should not ignore their qualitative edge too , but still I think we can hold them to 1+ week which is enough buy time to mobilize and activate 110+ nuclear weapons.

I think Pakistan is no longer the centre piece of Indian defence policy maker .... now the major focus is on eastern side so I don’t think India will ever initiate any military aggression towards as they can achieve the same results with other means so the covert tit for tat will be remain as it is but no military aggression from Indian side

A very few. There are more than a million soldiers, so these food issues are normal. I don't see anyone talking about their salary. Because it's very attractive. A sepoy is paid at around 25k Indian rupees. If he's in Siachin the allowance is an additional 14k. These risk allowances vary by region.

your budget was like same even before Rafale deal.. plus, you are not budgeting for all the Rafales in one year.. so your post doesn't make sense..

But it doesn't change the fact, that Rafale is one of the best omni role fighter in 4+gen league. Look the AESA version , IRST sensor version , 70% with composite,Such latest HCI , MICA to make sure destruction, and that type of engine to reduce maximum radar & infrared signature etc Great omni role jet at the end of day that matters.

Imagine a cricket match where Pakistan is playing with 11 players, while India is playing with 22-33 players. Do you get the drift?

Yes, no doubt but at what price? French are notorious for driving prices to levels unheard off then massive kickbacks.

The prices are way lower than Qatar's or even Egypt's. And comes with 50% offsets.

Navy in part, Pakistan focuses on lighter ships, not to rule the waves. India has more capital ships.

Pakistan maximizes their budget. India seems to spend on un-needed submarines, more artillery, etc.

Having Iran as a friend to supply Pakistan and Russia though the Stans and elsewhere means a blockade should not destroy the Pakistan war effort.

A strong navy is for a rich country like China. They afford that luxury.

I cant really comment on corruption allegations. But the journey that began in 2007 will deliver just 36 jets in 2022. Now thats sheer incompetence of the government and military.

When actual war will start, mark my words today, China will put a lot of force on your north and you will have to even them about to mitigate the Chinese threat. This will give us much more benefit on our eastern border. The same game you are trying to play with the help of Afghanistan but in a few months / years, you will lose that advantage.
