How modi made drama of his own assasination which ultimately backfired

@hinduguy

There is a vast philosophical difference between 'thinking' and 'accepting.'

Most Pakistanis 'think' of India as a threat. What should happen is that they must 'accept' India as an established enemy state.

The difference is the same between, 'Suspicion and Certainity'... This is what draws our threat perception and defensive posture.

When the philosophy behind the threat perception will change, they will result in a change in 'defensive posture'.

Pakistanis,if they have learnt 'anything' from 1971,must come to realize that the Indian policy is based on 'Chankya niti', and till it exists, no credible peace can be made.

All we need to drill that reality into Pakistani psyche is a catalyst, which in this case will be Modi, being presented in a plate to us and secondly a potent propagenda machine, which exists already.

Modi in India means that the temprature of bilateral ties will be
zero or below. Perfect temprature to change minds.

Hopefully Modi will threaten Pakistan with military force to appease his hindutva voters, that will give more fuel to our cause.

like somebody already pointed out..what works in gandhinagar does not work in delhi.. and once in power he has to be decent to the wider world. Nobody will want an indian version of ahmedinejad..

Modi is about development politics, and people are voting him based on development. If the side effect of that is a frozen relation with pakistan (but better one with china, and economic prosperity in general), I would say its worth a try.
Anti pakistan rhetoric will be ineffective as there is no major terror attack in last few years, and terror is not high on people's agenda. Economy and corruption issues are.

I have my reservations about modi though, I dont think they will be able to form a coalition, so in effect out of power for 5 more years.

About the small side effect in pakistan, I think our security aparatus and diplomacy is on such assumption already, it will change nothing for us, whether you become more hostile, or more convinced hostile.

as fakehistorian will say.. its same old $hit..

@Aeronaut, Are you saying that the only way to unite all Pakistani's is by a strong enmity against India or Hindus?

Donno about him but pakistani politicians and military rulers did create Indophobia/Hinduphobia as a tool cover their failures.

Pakistan is at war for 35 years how ,many civil wars have you seen in Pakistan?

Our Unity has a stronger source...this is not what i wanted to say nor did i use the word unity.

Its about 'how we see India' and how it impacts our diplomacy with India

Could you elaborate a bit more on that. How will Modi change Pakistan's diplomacy against India - you think the Pakistani approach till now has not been right?

your diplomacy is driven by security establishment, and they were never in doubt about who is the enemy. The best outcome will be more 'freedom fighters' available, but you got plenty already.

Modi's election will be a historic turning point in S.Asian history. Im waiting to see expected changes it will bring in Pakistan's national mentality.

Its about time they wake and accept India as an enemy, modi will become the face of it. Really looking forward to see Pakistanis stop believing in gimmicks and baniya diplomacy.

Pakistan doesn't need modi as Indian PM to be hostile- anyone will do

If you ask Indian people and Pakistani people, they wants peace between two countries more than 90% will say so.

And about Modi, Its just your fear, nothing else.

It was much more immense when BJP came to power for the first time at center and what happened? the right wing party contributed more to the peace efforts.

What is going to change for Pakistan if Pakistanis believe or not believe in 'gimmicks' of Indian diplomacy?Sorry, I am not able get you?

I think Pakistanis think of Modi as we we think of Zahil Hamid. However, one has worked for the country (state) and one incites country men. You can deice which ones who.

BTW one of my uncle was a chopper pilot (army) for Modi and he used to tell us that Modi never sleeps on Helicopters and takes longer route to see how the development is going on and keep discussing with him and other colleges on how to make Gujarat better place.

As far I know there is no diplomacy between India and Pakistan. We both are aware of our intent. You want Kashmir, which India cannot give you. Four wars have been fought on this issue, and I don't know how many wars are going to be fought on Kashmir in future.
