I too added some new countries over the last months. Re your plans, be prepared to thoroughly enjoy Turkey. Istanbul is the best bet. The food is just out of the world and people too in general are fantastic. One just needs to get used to the average Turkish behaviour on the street and things are perfect. If you are shopping for a girl, pearls are very good though most of the jewellery designing is from India. Diamonds too. Blue Mosque and the Bosphorous are a must visit. Spice Bazaar and also the hotel where Agatha Christie stayed ( I forget the name but it is next to the station where the Orient express starts). That area is in general good to visit. If you are like me and do not mind sometimes spending on an expensive dinner, try the Beyti restaurant. Fantastic place. There have been so many famous people there that you could spend a lot of time just looking at the photos. You will never forget it and will surely go back for more no matter the price! The famed original Beyti Kebab was just out of the world. If you get some time away from Istanbul. Bon Voyage!!

well when i was a kid went to Dubai, and the then soviet union.
due to work i have been to Malaysia, Thailand , Singapore , Bahrain , Israel ,Germany , UK, France, Portugal, Russia . and about a dozen times to the States.
