How likely is Iran's direct involvement in Iraq?

You are not Iranian ?
I am, are you? If you are, did you vote for IR? I didn't, did you? We never had a chance.

He's "our commander" in the same way that Khamenei is our leader. Iran isn't Denmark. Iran is a dictatorship like Saudi or North Korea.

Governments come and go that is not even a issue. Issue here is Iran and its interests.

.
Iran needs to stop their propaganda about Turkey firstly.

And secondly Iran needs to stop supporting dictator Assad who killed more civilians with his barrel bombs than ISIS could ever do.

So it was in our interest for Korea and Japan, which were behind us not too long ago, to surpass us in a way that we can never dream of catching up or is it in our interest to be in the same league as North Korea, Syria and Nigeria?

Soleimani is a tool for a dictatorial theocracy. To obsess over him shows your limited expectations and dreams. Dream of becoming a developed democratic nation, not whatever this is right now.

Go away and don't start a troll war Atta. You're a clown. Piss off.

.
Why do you support Assad who killed thousands and thousands of civilians with his barrel bombs?

I think you are referring to the 80's and 90's era where we had social and political difficulties. Well, you maybe right but let me tell you some thing, the way ahead of us is nothing but progression and wealth for our country.

This planet you're living in, does it need an invite? If it does could you get me in? I've looked around and can't find this planet. I've been told it doesn't exist.

Days have changed..nobody wants to be the bad muslim first. in the arabian peninsula, it's the bad arab. IS is a proxy group, it is clear. IS has similarities of Lashkar al Zil Zawahiri's brainchild. Iran too has its proxies.

i would say let the warthogs at 'em first ! Iran just needs more patroling on the border and stay alert ! Iran just now shouldn't stick it's official neck out. train proxies well.

.
Is it even in our interest or Iraq's interest to get directly involved if the situation gets worse?

Of course. Your puppet government is in trouble. They are now going to see their decade of mismanagement and their policies which alienated Sunnis backfire. You should protect Iraq, and form another Mullah state next to yours.

Iran has been training proxies.. The Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, and several rebel and terrorist organisations which have already been crushed by Sunni regimes were all trained by proxies. Poor isolated Iran doesn't have the strength the Gulf countries has, so we won't see any ISIS or Al Qaeda running about.

Hate for democracy. Iranians hate democracy. They don't want a progressive ME, and neither does Saudi Arabia. Thus, both mullah regimes are busy creating groups and supporting dictators who hate democracy and want a sham-Islamist state or a totalitarian dictatorship.

The Iranian question needs to be solved for progressive ME. The extremist groups like Hezbollah, ISIS and others are only surface problems. If you "solve" the core problem which is Iran. The symptoms will disappear.

Where were you during Saddam's reign? I'm interested to know, since some hypocrites suddenly seem to care about democracy in Iraq, but not only stayed silent when the maniac was ruling, but also helped him because they were happy that a 'Sunni' was ruling the country. Don't blame me if I don't take these words seriously.

Iraq is not our puppet it's an ally and if Sunnis wanna jump in to IS hands as soon as they felt a little sad, then let it be, Iraq should be cleaned from all terrorists and their sympathizers, whether they use Maliki as an excuse for their terrorism or another person.

And since you care so much about Sunnis of Iraq, how about starting to bow down to 'Taliban's demands's? I'm sure they are much more civilized compared to the 'weak and oppressed' IS fighters.

Hamas is its own independent movement, it isnt an Iranian proxy. Neither is Hezbollah. Hezbollah is Iran's ally. Houthis meanwhile have nothing to do with Iran. Iran doesnt have any access to Yemen that we could train and equip them. They have their own local struggle against the Yemeni state, and if you bothered to read the news, they're the ones that are doing the 'crushing' over there, just as Hezbollah did to Al-Nusra terrorists in Qusayr.

You're under the false assumption I support Saddam. I see both Pan-Islamism and Arab Nationalism as the cancer of the region.

I'm just pointing out the Maliki government is now suffering for it's suicidal policies. They didn't like Sunnis and they brought their hatred into the government, now they're going to pay the price for it.

Yes, that's right. The kurdish fighters, militias, and terrorist groups should all be cleansed. That means no more Iran or Gulf meddling.

Their more than close relationship with the mullah dictatorship suggests it more than just being allies.

The Iraqi matter is so comlicated hence all the problem we face. So I want to comment about the issue in two seperate lines IRAQ. and IRAN.

For Iraq the problem start from the day one when they wrote the constitution and accept to divide the the authoreties between three parts thad none of them trust the other.

The SHIITE.

wanted a democracy regime so they can participate in controlling their country as a right they have since they are the majority. Now their mistake is that accept the form of
Government sectarian quotas. They should never accept that since the country just got out of decades of dectatorship that was supported by the loosers of war and power.

SUNNI. on the other hand Sunnis never supported a democracy regime in Iraq since they will loose ruling the country a prevelige they had for centuries Plus in general the Sunni views about Shiite never been fair let alone good and accepting the Shiite as a rival all that we can see today chrystal clear.

Kurds. are not interested in been Iraqi neither united Iraq nor Iraq under a strong central government so they change their support between the Shiite and Sunni whenever its in their favour.

So what is the solution for this mess? In my opinion its should be done this way.

FIRST. form a government of majority and send home all other ministers home.

SECOND. clean the army from the Baathist also clean the security branches from them too.

THIRD. make a strong line that separate the cities under IS this way you defend what you have also you can start train your forces and prepaire for the libration of the rest of country.

IRAN. Iran's policy in Iraq come from.

First. fear they fear the move of the unrest in Iraq to their home so they try to help to contain that abroad.

Secon. Religiously they think they should defend the religious sites.

Third. Iran want to keep what they call the resistive front and keep some allies in the region absolutely the fall of Iraq in the hand of Sunnis will break or damage that front.

I think Iran should help in a way were make Iraqis the fighting with supporting them with better training and directing of some fighting plan.

For those who say that shia melitia should be under the army comand I would say you were wrong since the army is corrupted to the bones and must of it's generals are incompetants actually those generals even didn't feed the volunteers they should be executed publicly I mean those generals.

That's how I see it.

Iraq need to start acting now they need to put aside all the sunnis kurds rights for an interim period they need to builed a strong army in cooperation with the US, Russia and China.

they need to put the country pride the country safety the country prosperity first while keep the sectarian quote for future I say that because baath and terrorists enetrated this government deeply I'm sure many PM's and officers are working hand to hand with the terrorists.
Eonough with playing they need to start acting seriously.
