Has any member here installed macOS Sierra and iOS 10 beta 2 ? If yes, how has been your experience so far?

I have installed both on a spare iMac and iPhone 6s plus but both are suffering with quite a lot of glitches like choppy animations and transitions and frozen systems. iMac does not accept the password after the screen lock while touch screen on the iPhone gets frozen and unfreezes only after 30 seconds or so.
The conclusion is not to install betas if you don't have spare system.

Well it is not that bad, it has a lot of new functions and since I'm in the eco-system except for the Apple Watch (I prefer my Suunto) but I have installed both on spare systems as my work is critical, I can't afford the slightest of the glitches

So soon? dint they release that crappy el capitan previous year. Yeah need to wait until they do the first release and then an update for all the glitches. Mac is becoming like windows, constantly pestering to install updates & restart the system.

They release new OS every year and they are pretty regular but since mac OS is based on such a strong foundation that there are no drastic changes of the interface or functionality as normally is the case with windows though this time macOS sierra has new file system AFS. Furthermore, mac OS is a free update unlike Windows where one has to pay a hefty amount. Updates are necessary since the technology around us is changing at much faster rate so OS's have to keep pace with new developments. Right now it is beta release while the full version will be released in Autumn in the northern hemisphere somewhere in Sep-Oct.

reason why not because i won macbook air from my job. came with 128gb ssd. i partition with windows 10. so i have dual boot windows 10 and macos. i don't have back space and don't have external drive available for back up. so i don't want reinstall. i would perfer restore from backup over reinstall. will see in future.

128 Gb is nothing and you partitioned it:devil:,
I bought MBP with 512 SSD last year and I carry 2 tb external drive and in home and office i have Apple time capsule to keep a backup with time machine but it all depends on how much data you need.

Most of the updates are aimed at increasing the performance and stability of the system however the user has the funn control on what to let install on his system. You can always revert back to the older version for free especially if you have backed up your data.
