How India’s strategic partnership with UAE will hit Pakistan where it hurts

I agree to some extent as our press often embarrasses us but on a positive note this reflects that Indians are to a large extent united behind their leadership on the matters of foreign policy.

Bold part. Happens in most countries. Nothing new with India.

This may have been an important agenda in Indo-UAE talks but our relations with them are more economic than security related.

Yes, from our side it is definetly economic but from their side both economic as well as strategic. We are talking of providing missile warning system and other communication satellite as well. I repeat thatterroring is one of the dimension of this multi facet partnership.

Thats all right. If India does not have good relations with pakistan that does not mean our friends should also not have good relations with Pakistan. Each nation has a sovereign right to build her own relations. India's top busines partner is USA followed by China. India has good relations with Iran and Saudi Arabia, GCC and Israel. Diplomacy is all about managing conflicts and contradictions without compromising values and national interest.

I have no problem with India's relations with anyone. But please stop speaking against and about Pakistan on soil of a third country. Selfie taking is fine, but continuously maligning Pakistan everywhere won't win you friends, and it looks cheap.

And UAE had brotherly relations with us, best of luck to you for your relations.

.
Actually Modi Sarkar can hurt Pakistan the most once it develops some kind of Strategic relationships with Cayman Islands.

by the way Everyone who is someone in the world knows Moodi's mood swing obsession with Pakistan...I wish someone can tape the group laughs after Moodi left the meeting room with Arabs.

Pakistan, despite signing the Simla Agreement, raises kashmir issue with every third party. Kashmir is a bilateral issue but terrorism is a global challenge. I have said in my previous comment that a lot of terror funds were/are routed via UAE and many terrorists used UAE as a hub. So talking about containing terror with UAE authorities should not be construed as maligning pakistan. My first comment on this thread is about refraining from talking about a third country between a bilateral relations.

wow, were you privy to it?

And it will be really funny when nothings materializes from this trip. Specially the non fiscal part, the vote in UN, the temple in Abu Dhabi! :partay:

I don't see Moro go vegging for a UNSC seat in this article. At least that is a change.

I don't know how seriously Pakistan tried a third party mediation in Kashmir issue, because it had golden chances where it could have asked powerful players to make India resolve it, however, it never happened.

Now coming to terrorism part, in Pakistan UAE are the financiers of sectarian terrorism, they have some of our most wanted terrorists and thugs in their Emirate, and Modi boasted in Bangladesh about supporting Mukti Bahini and partition of Pakistan in two etc, so I don't know how these two can make a statement on terrorism and not look like biggest hypocrites of this time.

But it must be accepted. India is our number 1 enemy.

Day dreaming Indians at it again. So how did the China visit worked out for all knowing, selfie addict Modi? Yes, even after all the hue and cry, Russia is selling equipment to Pakistan. Yeah strategic partnership, it seems Bhartis at PDF are a special breed of imbeciles.
