India is higher on secularism scale wrt china but lower wrt western countries like USA or france.
We have stated policy of being secular(good) but certain provisions violates that( not good).

Man we don't have "Taoist nationalists" and "Confucian nationalists" like India's Prime Minister calls himself a "Hindu nationalist" or all the "Muslim nationalists" like Owaisi.

The province of UP alone puts that theory to shame, just see any statement from the Chief Minister of UP, or from the Chief Minister of West Bengal (Mamata). I doubt you can find more communal politicians anywhere else in the world.

I'm not claiming China is secular either. But religion is not such a huge part of our politics, like it is in India.

When was the last time you saw Xi Jinping talking about religious politics? Pandering to Taoists like Modi panders to the Hindus, or the Chief Ministers of UP and West Bengal pander to the Muslims?

Well...... if Taoism and Confucianism was berated, discriminated against in the name of secularism and any attempt to defend oneself was either ridiculed or called communal. You would be as secular as us too

If that is true then they would be preferring fish, not humans . By the way I went to the duars in December for hols, stayed in a tea garden resort, locals have lots of stories about rampaging elephants and dog stealing leopards (cheetah baghs as you bongs call it) but no tigers

One main reason for the decimation of not only the wild tiger population but also many other endangered species around the world

Yeah Gorumara was kind of a bust for us too.I mean we only saw a few dozens of peacocks,a couple of angry bisons,an elephant that turned out to be a domesticated one and a lone rhino that too from a distance of about a mile or so(with the help of camera).But the good thing was that we went to the adivasi village and got to see them dance.It was a beautiful scenario with heavy rain puring outside and Adivasi girls singing and dancing,holding each other in a circular pattern at the tune of drums.

Rain and adivasi girls (especially sambalpuri ones) is the best. They are uniquely endowed genetically. And are quite bold about it.
