I really don't understand how the war in 1962 and Macmohan line is related to AIP submarines, neither would I try to relate them. Please stick to topic.

Because Indians keep trying to deny our overwhelming conventional advantage by claiming they are "closer" to the Malacca straits (have you guys ever seen a map?)

Without the detailed seafloor map, the sub is partially blind and has the limited operational capability.

This is the first hand data, no one would offer it unless you can measure everything by yourself.

China is a 40 years old player when it comes to the nuclear sub, while India has just leased one from Russia, and the sailors right now can just barely operate it.

China has some very intensive sub training in the West Pacific Ocean and Indian Ocean, that's why you can often hear the news of the Chinese subs at the doorstep of India. And every time China just deliberately notified India about the Chinese nuclear sub activity in the Indian Ocean.

Even the experienced US sailors can hit the seafloor sometimes, so imagine your green bug sailors.

India is a superpower that has no problems at all. If that's what you want to hear, I'll say it.

India's 7 active submarines can easily beat all of China's 68 submarines (including our domestically built nuclear and AIP submarines). Even though India can't even come close to building an AIP submarine.

You can easily overrun us at the Sino-Indian border, despite China having the high ground on the Tibetan plateau, vastly superior border infrastructure, a vastly larger airforce and land forces, and vastly superior ability to bring "force concentration" to the border areas. While Indian soldiers have to trek on foot for a whole day to reach the border areas.

The Chinese nation = 56 ethnic groups. All these ethnic groups are "Chinese people" same as myself. This is basic stuff.
