For me it's pretty much the same, except for going out for the general shopping stuff. I haven't worked for over 2 years, as I have been contemplating my career choices, was supposed to go back to Uni for a postgraduate degree, but decided to postpone that decision and look for employment instead, then the Virus hit.. and the entire nation is in lockdown. No doubt this is a terrible time for everyone, especialy for the UK, with the death toll passing 26k now, and in due time will evidently become the 2nd worst hit country in the world. If/when we overcome this virus life will never be the same, as millions of jobs are currently at risk, the economy was already recovering from the effects of 08 recession (lost decade), brexit fiasco and now this MOAB.

Bonus question: What do you do for pass time?

I think not a bigger change in my routine. Yeah universities are closed :( But as i do freelancing so it is great time for me to stay at home and do some work :) because with uni i was i two boats now i can focus on one thing.
But definitely it is a difficult time for everyone. Hope all will be fine soon. InshaAllah

I have an insurance agency mostly focused on commercial clients, so my time is spent servicing clients etc. however this pandemic has slowed things down considerably and several deals I had in the pipeline are on hold now.
Surprised you’ve not worked 2 years you have a family business that just runs?

Well up untill two months ago I was working in the real estate sector as a Realtor and eventhough the market was slowing Covid made it impossible to do it person to person yes many are doing deals via virtual means but there was huge contoversary if we were considered a essential business at first no then they said yes two of my clients decided to stop deals and looking for property so lost commission so for the last month or so I been staying home besides the usual groceries and getting essential medications for my father. As for my dad and I we were planning to renovate the convenience store and building he owns as the operator of the store wasn't paying rent for months prior to the crisis so we threw him out plan was we renovate the store and building once it's up and running we sell the store but that's put on hold cause no contractor wants to work now or even if they do the city may not considered it a essential work or violating social distancing which can put heavy fines amounting to thousands of dollars not worth it summer we were planning to go abroad maybe to Europe and later Pakistan but that's not likely happening anytime soon so 2020 has been wasted for most of us

Nah I live with my parents, my dads the breadwinner.. I was supposed to do a masters two years ago but kept procrastinating.. just coudn't make my mind whether to follow a specialist business path i.e. logistics or just take a dive into computing (something I have a great interest in). So I basically wasted 2 years doing nothing..

my time has been peaceful.
my sources of income have not decreased, instead they have increased.
And I have began reciting more quran, reading tafseer and ahadees and overall began learning more about my religion.

I have also begun some exercises they made me more energetic.

I used to have a busy life working 3 jobs. Now only work 1 job because of the coronovirus and since I am a key worker, I cant get the days off. At home it gets boring as I have alot of time to myself, so I go for 1 hour walk everyday, looking at the nature is so beautiful. Makes you feel alive and the excercise is good for your health and health. You cant beat walking, highly recommended to PDF Members.

That's my thoughts too, I've decided eventually I probably go back to Uni part-time, whilst working.

Computer science would be good.
