Coming back to the topic bro the golden era for Pakistanis in saudia is over now they are making it near impossible for us to live there. expect half of our workforce to return by 2020 due to ever increasing living cost and taxation.
My father is an electrical engineer who is working there for last 20 years and I am an ACCA who almost spent his whole life there but even we are planning on returning back to our country because of the job market conditions and saudisation policies.

Let me tell you guy's some facts: i born here in KSA and i have visited most parts of Saudi Arabia and now living in Jeddah from last 11 years.

Well the much i know about Saudis! They actually don't really care about us or any other nationality.
But few things they all know about Pakistanis are: We have strong Army!
We people like to Welcome Fight!
We are less educated than Indians.
We can do anything for money!
We are less trust worthy!
We're aggressive don't afraid of anyone.

I have lived in Saudi as well and i agree with you 100%, but its not a false perception, Pakistanis are like that, and not just in Saudi or other Gulf countries, Pakistanis in general are like that everywhere and i have noticed it myself. Let me give you some examples

Lack of customer service

You go to any restaurant and you are greeted with a smile and taken to your table. In contrast in a Pakistani restaurant unless the waiter knows you, there will be no smile, infact the biggest complains that i have read on Pakistanis restaurant reviews is the lack of customer service. The patrons don't feel like that they are welcomed and they find the waiters rude. Even though the waiter wasn't being rude but thats what is perceived.

General politeness/Ethics.

Pakistanis in general don't say "Thank you" or "Please" or "Sorry". People perceive this as a sign of disrespect or arrogance or rudeness.

Patience

Where ever you go you will find Pakistanis fighting, either with themselves or others. There is a clear lack of patience within the community.

These are just some of the things that makes people in other countries perceive Pakistanis in a bad way. This is due to our cultural upbringing and can easily be fixed if people are educated and when i say educated i don't mean by just getting degrees.

Now before people start throwing tantrums at me for what i posted, i was like this as well, until one of my friend started dating an Aussie girl and we asked her about her perception of Pakistanis and this is what she told us, then me and my friend realized that it is true as we do exactly the same thing but unconsciously. So we decided to change our behaviour and honestly it has changed our lives. It has improved out social and professional standing. People started respecting and trusting us and were inclined to listen to our view-points.

I can't emphasize enough what a difference a smile and a Thank you can make.

No wonder there is a hadith " Give charity, even a smile is a form of charity"

Unfortunately, generalization and stereotyping are convenient to the human mind everywhere all the time. Instead of seeing individuals as individuals, humans tend to categorize and label others to make it easier for their brains to handle. Taking every person individually is too much work for most people all over the globe. For the case in hand, most Arabs I have been around have common opinions about people from the countries mentioned as follows:

1- Paksitanis are seen to be devout Muslims who have extreme passion toward the religion. They are mono-cultural and don't accept others. Most Pakistanis believe and nurture the conspiracy theory; that the West especially the US has been plotting against them to weaken their country and fight the spread of Islam.

• At the personal level, Pakistanis are taken for warm, honest and straightforward people. Generally speaking, Pashtuns (Phatans) are seen to be less educated and sophisticated than Punjabis but yet closer to Arabs when it comes to looks, personality traits and conduct.
• Pakistanis are feared (respected) by many Arabs for their hot-temper and sometimes reckless behavior. My teenage Saudi students told me they never mistreated Pakistanis as “they are tall, strong and crazy. Don't miss around with a Pakistani.
• Pakistanis are seen to be more religious than Indian and Bangladeshi Muslims. They grow long beards and do the prayers on time. They quote verses from the Quran and Hadith all the time. Their names suggest deep love to the religion. Such things are significant to many mainstream Arabs.
• The Pakistani army is highly respected and looked up to here. Pakistani aviation, pilot fighting and other military personnel and instructors who work here make a good image about the country too. Those who care about military strength and weight give a lot of credit to Pakistanis and feel secured and reassured Arab countries have strong ties with a sister country like Pakistan which has nuclear weapons and announces that it's there at our back in case of any major assault.

Do you think we have inferiority complex? It's the opposite.

Here is common stereotype for other people among us Pakistanis:

Arabs = Lazy,lack courage

Indians = Submissive

White = "Phoukay" its a Panjabi word meaning empty.

The German public by and large respect the Pakistani community greatly, thanks to the efforts of the Pakistani folks there. I can recall a German exchange visiting our institution, and two German teachers describing how wonderful her three Pakistani students (born and bred there) were.
The community in Norway has also done a great job, oh and the small number in the Netherlands.

3 of my cousins are studying in Germany.

One of them works for BMW as an intern these days.

Yet from what i hear now even they face problems due to arabs and afghanis.

The other day he was telling me how afghani gangs were harassing an australian couple.

Now because we all looks pretty much same, brown,even Pakistanis face flake for others problems.

Perception can be bought with money. Wars started on false pretexts. We as Pakistanis have to taste this power to know what it is like. For long we have lived like 'kami kameens' of this world. They were not ballsy enough to bring in a true iron clad coup and dictatorship to set a direction nor could they just stay away from it all and let Pakistan be baptised by fire. These half measures have made us grovellers and spineless nation indeed 'shudars' of the world.

I’m Syrian Arab so I'll give my opinion based on this basis.

Syrians and Lebanese both are majority non-ethnic Arabs..most of them are actually European..so their opinion varies..as compared to Arabs they have a liberal culture and tolerance nature...but real opinion would be one from ethnic Arabs in Syria and Lebanon. Which happens to be the worst lot..foot soldiers of ISIS at best..

In a town I live, People almost know nothing about Pakistan. No matter how hard I try to explain that Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh are 4 different countries, they mostly believe '' all are some kind of Indians''. The other day I explained my friend.. Look João- the guy with long beard is Pakistani, the guy with long beard and turbant is Indian, the Chinese looking Indian is Nepalese, the guy who never close his store is Bangladeshi..Confused João told me that okay genius now try to explain differences between people from Guinea, Cabo Verde, Angola and Senegal. And I ended up saying '' all are some kind of Africans''.
