UAV Rays and solar radiation are a primary reason of the skin color pigmentation evolution.

Apart from the different skin colors . . . . . i use to wonder that how has the human race being descendants of Hazrat Adam and Hawa evolved into differnet types of those such as asians (us), blacks, white, japanese/chinese. Please let me know, if u have information on it.

INB4 Humans are able to choose the skin color they like. YOu change up a couple of genes here and there and you can go from black to white and white to black. NOt too far

No, it's your reading skills that need improvement. The figure plots what their regressor predicted skin colour would be at all of those locations given a finite number of environmental attributes.

where you had been?

environment /weather has a big role in changing skin color

Some interpretations say aadam means dark. And Hawaa too has two interpretations that I know of, one from life since she was issued from another living being, and the second: black.

NuuH A.S.'s children might have had what has come now to be known as ethnicities or races. See their names haam, saam, yaafath, don't-remember-the-name, and kan3aan. The last drowned in the deluge, and the 4 would've fathered the (therefore 4) different peoples (as some perceive them).

Voilà another person who can't read!

I'm saying the fig doesn't represent real, sampled human skin colour. it represents what this system determines what it would be given the local environment.

Am not at all reading I was stating my experience wrgt to affect of the environment over skin color :))))

This map is totally wrong, Iranians are darker then Bengalis? since when?

Its not wrong, its just what the skin color of indigenous people would look like had the climate conditions and UVR exposure been the same across the board. People from Northern Iran, and Northern India would have the same skin tone if it wasn't for the climate conditions and UVR.

Skin coloration in indigenous peoples is strongly related to levels of ultraviolet radiation (UVR). In this study, the relationships of skin reflectance to seasonal UVR levels and other environmental variables were investigated, with the aim of determining which variables contributed most significantly to skin reflectance. The UVR data recorded by satellite were combined with environmental variables and data on human skin reflectance in a geographic information system (GIS). These were then analyzed visually and statistically through exploratory data analysis, correlation analysis, principal components analysis, least-squares regression analysis, and nonlinear techniques. The main finding of this study was that the evolution of skin reflectance could be almost fully modeled as a linear effect of UVR in the autumn alone. This linear model needs only minor modification, by the introduction of terms for the maximum amount of UVR, and for summer precipitation and winter precipitation, to account for almost all the variation in skin reflectance. A further significant finding was that the effect of summer UVR seems to reach a threshold beyond which further adaptation is difficult. Am J Phys Anthropol, 2004. © 2004 Wiley-Liss, Inc.

This paper presents an investigation of the specific nature of environmental influences on the evolution of human skin coloration. It builds on previous research (Jablonski and Chaplin, 2000) in which a clear causal relationship between average annual ultraviolet radiation (UVR) and skin reflectance was established.

My point was that we don't see a child born such as of black or Chinese when people of the same race marry in countries like pakistan or britain. It doesn't matter Aadam and Hawa (A.S) were black or white, whatever they were similar should have been the descendants, even Nuuh A.S was the descendant and so was Nuuh A.S's children. And i don't understand that how does the names suggest anything in this respect, i mean my father and chacha's are named as saleem, naeem, nadeem.

So was it due to the reason that people migrated to different regions over time that had some sort of an impact that the present races have evolved. I mean the the conditions of those regions where they inhabited, the food, climate etc etc. made the effect.

you still believe in Adam and Eve?.......the fact that so many different races exist itself is proof that god did not create the world in 7 days nor did Eve bite the forbidden fruit....humans evolved over a period of time

So @Hyperion - Were would we lie in all of that ?

I know where @Marshmallow lies in all of that - She is, after all, Purple Colored !

We can thank Mr.Willy Wonka for that ! :D

Thats offensive to me.
I think they existed, but I also believe that evolution happened. In either case, trying to justify religion with science is never good.
Each are different and have different modes of study and understanding.
