Was it through physical hardships in NE Asia or the Tibetan region? Was it through sexual selections? The only people other Asian to have this feature is San bushmen and Samii people.

One explanation is that people who live in Deserts needs to cover their eyes because of continuous dusty winds. So their eyes evolved very small and compatible for that region.

It is an evolution process over the time based on the climate, diet and terrain they live.

^^ but using your logic arabs and north africans must also have similar eyes which is wrong !!

.
The reason why their eyes are like that is because of the Sun. Since it's usually bright. Another is that the fats in the eyelids can keep your eyes warm.

Evolution and environmental adaptation. Our eyes evolved like this so that we can stare at the bright computer screen at night without squinting and straining our eyes. This way, we can troll at each other for a longer period time than other ethnic groups.

.
It is most frequent in northeastern Asia and eastern central Asia, such as Mongolia, Manchuria, Korea, central and northern China, central and eastern Siberia and much of Japan

Not among Southeatern Asian countries and South and West China?

I myself didn't notice that, that seems to be more of a northeastern asian thing where it is extremely cold.

. .
This is a genetic trait and has nothing to do with the environment in which people live.

. . . .
Why you don't focus on the big noses?
Does the slanty eyes define asian people?
