Though I understand there are few hooligans who use to create trouble for muslims in a way or two but there is no as such policy. The situation in India is ripe for genocide against minorities, Muslims and Christians both, and perhaps later on Sikhs as well.

- Muslims of India are amongst the poorest of all the various groups of people living in India.

- They can no longer seek protection from Indian government institutions. We saw how the police aided attacks against muslims during protests in Delhi earlier. The laws are also very poorly implemented to protect minorities due to corruption. Another example would be the lack of arrest orders for recent RSS leaders who were inciting genocide.

- High level members of the current BJP government spreads propaganda against muslims, which the uneducated and educated both readily believe, and in massive numbers. This helps the Indian government relieve pressure from themselves because they can't show economic progress during the current shut down of economics due to COVID. But they can show 'pseudo progress' by passing CAA, banning beef, etc etc etc

All of this has created a situation where a traitorous 'foreign' muslim boogie man has been created and bashing it will magically bring peace and prosperity to India and kick in a golden age of some sort.

India is without a doubt the #1 country with the most high anti muslim sentiments right now. A large portion of muslim population who has been neutered. Media is under government censorship. Things look bad.

In my opinion, nothing can stop what is in motion already, nothing short of Modi engaging with muslims immediately and diffusing the situation. But its highly unlikely he will do it knowing his history. To him the loss 14% of vote is worth the gain of the rest 80% on his side. Unfortunately for the world, that 14% is 200+ million people who are about to become fair game in Hindustan. With that kind of power, BJP will rule for decades to come.

If Indian muslims value dignity and respect they need to arm themselves to defend. But I have a feeling, that they will be chewed up and digested into India, their stories lost in the censorship. A genocide forgotten.
