Is that related to blasphemy lynching? It was an honour killing...I repeat hindus dont take religious criticism seriously...we are even free to mock our gods and holy books.
We dont identify ourselves with religion...we have different identities.
Caste and language are more dominant identities in India( but you wouldnt see anyone shivering with anger if their caste or language is made fun of).
The lynchings where muslims were victims were not related to blasphemy..it got more to do with hatred for muslims....cow is just an excuse.
Most kerala hindus eat beef...nobody looks down upon them.

Cow is holy to Hindus. Eating Cow to a Hindu is equivalent to blasphemy which is why many states ban cow slaughter.

But no hindu would be killed if he eats cow..thats what am saying..some hindus in the west eat beef as beef is present in almost every dish or food item like burgers .

Try it in states where cow is like god. My Nepali housemate who occasionally eats beef said he doesn't in Nepal, or even in Nepali parties here, obviously because it is equivalent of blasphemy in the Hindu culture he is from.

In Bangladesh lynching does not happen but it is common for muslims to attack Hindu and Buddhist temples and households using false blasphemy.

Here how it works. Some muslims intentionally creates a fake hindu facebook profile or in many cases, directy hacks the facebook account of a hindu individual. From that website, they post all sort of anti islamic material in order to stir conflicts. The results are usually mobs of muslims vandalizing hindu and buddhist temples and houses.

Muslims are lynched for cow because Hindus are not in cow related business such as leather. At the end of the day it is lynching for socio cultural religious reasons.

Blasphemy lynchings don't happen in other Muslim countries as well. Pakistan is the only country where they happen.

Any interpretation of Islam that overly focuses on what the other is or should be doing is problematic. The inner (greater) jihad of bettering oneself should be all-consuming --- but that is painful, requires introspection and lots of personal effort. When you're a frustrated guy who has been brainwashed to think that killing some other guy is a shortcut to heaven, it's a tempting way to feel some power.

Utter state failure over the past many, many decades. And IK and Bajwa have really dug us into a hole that will be hard to come out of, as visionary and strict measures by them could have started to turn the tide (of course, the fruits would be picked by future generations as this is a long, long process).

That's true actually.
Barelvis and suffis were traditionally the most tolerant people who actually mingled with other religions quite well.
But now see after mumtaz qadri this TLP menance grew ten folds.
