See when you see Kali Mata? you must think wtf and she is a statue/idol? yes to the untrained eye it appears so
kaali-maa.jpg

Name: Kali is so called because She devours Kala (time) and then resumes Her own dark formlessness. She is the embodiment of three gunas (qualities of nature): She creates with Her sattva guna (quality of goodness and purity), preserves with rajas (passion and activity), and destroys with tamas (ignorance and inertia).

Complexion: Her complexion is deep blue, like the sky. As the sky is limitless, so is She. From a distance one sees the ocean water as blue, but it is colorless and transparent when examined closely.

Crescent above the forehead: She is the giver of liberation.

Earrings: Images of two little babies hang from Her ears; this means that She favors childlike devotees.

Smiling face: She is ever-blissful.

Tongue: Kali's white teeth symbolize sattva or serenity; Her red tongue, rajas, or activity; and Her drunkenness: tamas or inertia. The meaning: tamas can be conquered by rajas, and rajas by sattva.

Full breast: She is the nourisher of all beings.

Terrible form: She is the mother of the universe as well as the destroyer. When a mother spanks her child, it does not mean that she is cruel; she disciplines her child for its own good.

Necklace: It consist of fifty skulls that represent the fifty letters of the Sanskrit alphabet, the origin of sound. She is Shabda Brahman (Sound-Brahman), or Logos-the source of creation.

Two right arms: The upper right arm grants fearlessness, and the lower right arm offers boons. She protects Her children from danger, and She fulfills their desires.

Two left arms: She holds a sword with the upper left arm and a severed head with the lower. She can cut human bondage with the sword of knowledge, and She imparts wisdom to the head, the receptacle of supreme wisdom.

Naked form: She is called digambari, "clad in space." She is infinite, so no finite dress can cover Her.

Waist: Kali's waist is encircled with a girdle of severed human arms that represent action. All human actions and their results go to the Divine Mother. At the end of a cycle all souls merge with Kali; during creation they again evolve with their respective karmas.

Shiva is under Her feet: Shiva and Shakti are always together. He is the changeless aspect of the Supreme, and She the apparently changing aspect of the same. Shiva is pure cosmic consciousness, and Kali is cosmic energy. No creation is possible without their union. Siva cannot manifest without the power of Kali, and Kali cannot function without the consciousness of Shiva.

Dakshina Kali and Vama Kali: If Her right foot is forward, She is Dakshina Kali (benign form); and if Her left foot is forward, Vama Kali (terrible form).

See in the old times people were simple and made images (statues) but when you read the texts and see the true meaning it is far deeper

What is interesting is that the Story of the Great Flood which is mentioned in Abrahamic religions is also mentioned in a Hindu text but slightly different version.

If anyone can share with me the Islamic creation I would enjoy reading it as I do not know this

I know in the Bible it says 6 days but one Muslim said it is 6 parts in Quran?

Islam also says there is 99 names for Allah and in Hinduism also there is many names of the one

Wow Julia Roberts and Alfred whatsisnames grandson, impressive

On a serious note, do you see the picture of your kali maa, well its abominable in islam

Perhaps when you understand what metaphors mean you might be able to think

Will Durant, (1885-1981), Great prolific American writer, historian and philosopher, World renowned for his work ‘Story of civilization’ in 11 volumes.

“India was the motherland of our race, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe’s languages: she was the mother of our philosophy; mother through the Arabs, of much of our mathematics; mother through the Buddha, of the ideals embodied in Christianity; mother through the village community, of self-government and democracy. Mother India is in many ways the mother of us all.” -Source: The Case For India – by Will Durant AND “But hardly had the British established themselves in India before editions and translations of the Upanishads began to stir Western thought. Gottlieb Fichte conceived an idealism strangely like Shankara’s; Schopenhauer incorporated the Upanishads and the Vedanta into his philosophy; and Schelling, in his old age, thought the Upanishads the maturest wisdom of mankind. Nietzche had dwelt too long with Bismark and the Greeks to care for India.” Source: Story of Civilization: Our Oriental Heritage – by Will Durant

  1. Henry David Thoreau, American Thinker & Author: Whenever I have read any part of the Vedas, I have felt that some unearthly and unknown light illuminated me. In the great teaching of the Vedas, there is no touch of sectarianism. It is of all ages, climbs, and nationalities and is the royal road for the attainment of the Great Knowledge. When I read it, I feel that I am under the spangled heavens of a summer night.

  1. Max Mueller, German scholar: If I were asked under what sky the human mind has most fully developed some of its choicest gifts, has most deeply pondered on the greatest problems of life, and has found solutions, I should point to India.

You sound like a little kid

There is a chapter in the Gita to do with Time and we all know how important Time is with the Universe

The Problem is that Truth of some religions makes it mandatory to its followers to abide by it unquestioningly. Anybody asking any question is considered blasphemous.

RSS people and other Hindus are very miser by nature. They have never shared their ancient knowledge with anyone in centuries. It's only now in the age of faster communication that westerners are flocking to India to seek that knowledge.

Akhand Bharat is just a brain fart of some loony RSSites. In India nobody gives a $hit about this concept. I wonder while we never heard this phrase in India for the past 5 or 10 years, it is still being used in Pakistan as propaganda against India.

We were discussing proselytization to those who are "non-believers"; they may question without hinderance as they are not bound by religious obligation.
So tell me why is it a problem for one to believe in Truth and proselytize to those who do not and are not bound by religious obligation to not question (if that is a religious obligation as you suggest for some religions)?

Brain fart you say, so why does Ram Madhav, the National General Secretary of India's ruling BJP and former spokesman of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh say this? Is he a nobody?

RSS types et al are becoming more influential in Bharat, this no one can deny; they have close ties with those who are in government of the second largest nation, a nation of immense military & intelligence capabilities.

I think Pakistan already has enough on its plate to concentrate on its problems before stretching itself too far. Other countries will take advantage where ever they can, its only natural. Whats not natural is a country and its people that keeps repeating same mistakes over and over again even with zero gains in this awareness campaign.

Today you have more than ever media talk shows and news interest among Pakistanis but I am really amazed how dumbfounded they still are after all these beautifully narrated arguments trying to show the enemy with in, sitting in high thrones and enjoying public support.
True Mir Jafir and Mir Sadiq should be the number one priority.

Yes but remember they are referring to those Indo-European tribes or Aryans who invaded what is the Indian Subcontinent millennia ago and developed Sanskrit etc etc. They do not consider the mixed race descendants of them, such as you or I, as equal to them.

Nonsense!

No one know from where Veda came, The last compilation took place in 1700BC . It existed before that because there was no tradition to pass the knowledge via written scriptures but orally and that's why there were mantra which were to be chanted. As it was ''apara gyan'' which later leads to ''para gyan''

You people do not know anything and post absurdly to become a joke and defame your country more. Master of stupidity.
I meant what is commonly named Hinduism, not the Vedas and other Holy Books. According to that video it appears that Hinduism started in what is now Pakistan.

My problem is that being a Hindu we have been taught to ask as many questions about our religion as we wish. We are free to choose any Guru of our liking ( be it a Living Guru , A book, An Idol or just a Mantra or anything) who can inspire or guide us in uniting us with the God. Since you are strictly looking for non believers to convert into Islam then you are welcome to carry on doing the good job. I personally feel that having faith in a religion is better than being a non believer.

But in case some of those converts start asking tough questions then refer those souls to the persons who never shun from indulging in any Spiritual discussions / debates .

Who told you that Ram Madhav can't have brain farts :p:

Please specify the time in the video where this gentleman farted Akhand Bharat stuff. I don't want to waste my time on rubbish people and rubbish channel

We should like hindus now?

Yes while keeping your religion, you should also respect every other race ,& try to coexist with them peacefully, it wont make you any less Muslim , nobody is asking you to become a hindu ,
you can have your political differences , but hating an entire race & sprouting hate speech & extremism is unacceptable , & if you can't adjust , then i suppose you should pack your bags & go back to your country

This is my home country,

The world is full of hatred, look around you. Its heading in only one direction

And you think we should coexist with our enemy, they knew what they were doing when they occupied Kashmir, our animosity towards them should be set in stone

The fact that they are pagans to us just adds to the basic reasons both historic and current for dispising them

. .
@TMA there was no such thing as a 'Aryan' invasion that theory has been debunked, the word 'Aryan' is derived from the root word 'Arya' meaning noble and Indo-Aryan is a linguistic group not a racial term.

I am putting that hussian on iggey

There is many of them here bro, Shariah4UK and likes poison their young minds

I see many links between the Islamic concept of Allah and Brahman the Vedas told of one Supreme being which is known by many names
