If Pakistan wanted to , it could've evacuated it's citizens from Wuhan. What would China get by stopping us in such a case? All that is written in this article is the simple romanticism of the US point of view on Pak-China relations. While the relations are far from perfect, this article doesn't portrays the actual realities on ground.

If Pakistan establishes Sister-province relations between Gilgit Baltistan and Xinjiang, wouldn't that mean that there could be more development and cooperation between both? While i do think there are some problems with the Uighur situation in China, The irony here is that if this american author really cared about muslim oppression, has he written anything on Indian Occupied Kashmir and the treatment of muslims in India? Hypocrites.

There is no doubt that west, in particular US has been causing problems for Muslim countries for long. But their democratic setup makes them accountable and however inefficient, ultimately the voices are heard and usually from within. Thats not the case with China.

National interest never churns out anything worthwhile reading. If you follow their page, they mostly used to write about how great the F 35 is, and how crappy the Chinese and Russian fighters are. Now they're trying their hand in politics.

By that standard, Al jazeera, reuters, cgtn, xinhua, any think tank actually, is a propaganda tool for their respective countries.

Most are against us, but I enjoy discussing about them cause some have valid arguements, but not this one, there is nothing in this article.
