Indian economy is going to be no 1 in 30 years from Now. I do not foresee any other economy capable of competing with India. There is only one pre condition. We should preserve our culture and do not kill it like chinese did.

I disagree, the Chinese didn't kill their culture, it's very much intact, it has adapted to modern era ofcourse like all other cultures of the world......IMHO, the Chinese and Japanese culture, despite being highly modernized, is largely able to retain its old values....

Forget about being no.1, India won't become a great economy if it continues with the present level of corruption......we need China 'style' laws i.e Death to Corrupt people....

I don't see any benefit of being world's biggest economies for the last three hundred years at least. Especially after the massive diffusion of Transcontinental Railways,Telegraph and steam driven Ships Europe became smaller and smaller. Though industrialization and its fruits were unevenly distributed between London and Moscow, relatively poorer countries which were mainly agrarian like Sweden and Finland benefited enormously from this gigantic leap. There were more per capita telephones in Sweden than anywhere else during late nineteenth century (Eric Hobsbwam: Age of empire). The GNP and per capita purchasing capacity of West Europe became even 9-10 times than India/China in late nineteenth century. So,yes we might have been the biggest economies but at basic level there has been least improvement which contrarily was quite visible in West.

I don't know, but India history started in 1947. Im sure. USA, uk had a bigger economy than India.

India's history started millions of years ago, in 320 bc Chandragupta empire spanned from afganistsn to myanmar in the east and tibet to ceylon in the south, this was about 300 years before some people came to know there is something called alla (6th century bc), got it mr. historian?

Agree. culture has different formats, some are exterior while some are internal, like people's belief, behaviours, especially the thinking. This is the real culture hiding deep in people's mind.

You do realize the Mauryan & Gupta collapsed right? Since then most of India history were dominated by princely states instead of 1 united Empire. While the Chinese dynasties ruled for over 2000 years. Until the Qing collapsed.

On the other hand the Maurya Empire and Gupta Empire ruled the major part of India.
