How catastrophic will an Indo-Pak nuclear armageddon be?

if u read my post a bit carefully, i said the net "arable land" get decreases.i never said they are exporters i said they are producers..so even for now if the food is adequate how would u support the humanity after 3 or 4 decades??so u comprehend the article as ""If India falls, Earth falls. In a nutshell....." right comprehension..lacking.
i've stated many points out of which food is only a factor.theres are worse problems like climate change which i explained in #53

Do you understand what we are debating here?

.
i don't wanna think it man we are humans and just 65 years before we were one country and lived with eachother thousands of years . please wake up and come out of this bloody sea of hate . be human live and let other live .

Sir, I am sorry to say the seeds of animosity have spread too deep and too wide peace atleast on a national level since Indian hegemonic designs continue and Pakistani aspiration to retake India are still alive and kicking....war and hatred are human nature and will continue as long as human beings inhabit this planet

frankly i dont think it's gonna happen.

i was trying to explain the consequences to the world if theres is a huge scale of nuclear war in south asia.

Good.

Now, you we're saying food production will take a hit in affected areas, which are India and Pakistan and perhaps China from the fallout. And as a consequence people elsewhere in the world will feel it.

I'm saying the effect won't be so dramatic, because:

1.) India spends majority of the food on itself, so does China.
2.) Basic wheats, meat and associated dairy products the rest of the world can produce for itself in sufficient amounts that there are no or minor shortages only.
3.) Agriculture products that you grow, going from wiki article you linked are non critical things for survival, garlic, beans, carrotts etc.....

i've repeated this number of times.there will be the excess stress on remaining "arable land" once the population starts to grow as large parts of these nuclear hit countries will be spoiled and with permanent effect.
food is just one factor.worse nightmare is climate change as i said apart from global warming.what would you do if the monsoons stop reaching in time?what happens if ocean currents change the direction? i'm not creating all this.theres a phenomenon call el-nino which is a cause of this global warming.its a reversal of warm currents in the costs of south america and yet it affects our monsoons which delays our rains.u may have all the rivers.but what will happen if the glaciers are melted and dried up??how would you grow crops then.there are many researches going on the climate due to nuclear fall out.ur looking at a very narrow perspective.theres a big picture to it.

I'm not debating what will happen in India and i didn't dispute that India and Pakistan and maybe to a lesser extent China will not be affected.

I think you wrote above just to fill a page, it has zero meaning to our discussion as we are debating global effects.

yes :blah: :blah: :blah:

End of civilization? No.

And all of this is based on a premise temperatures will go up for a considerable time, while in reality a nuclear winter (dust/smoke blocking the sun) would cause a temperature decrease.

More wailings from a boy. Explain to me how glaciers would melt and rivers would dry in Europe, or for that matter, anywhere except around the Himalayas.
Or better yet don't, because it will be more nonsense in sms english with bad punctuation.
