Pakistan has and does have good relations with the above mentioned countries. But alot of countrymen like me feel that our future lies in peaceful, progressive, prosperous and moderate muslim country like Malaysia and Turkey.I know these countries are not not perfect but much better than KSA/UAE. Everyone knows that why IK could not go to KL? To much pressure from KSA/UAE which is impossible to resist. Few observations about their carrots and sticks:
1.KSA/UAE has too much influence on us. More than 5 million Pakistanis work there and send billions in remittance. If blocked/people kicked out can play havoc with economy and cause social disharmony. (we cannot provide employment to our people)
2. MBS too aggressive unlike previous KSA rulers. Will do everthing not to let Pakitan go from its sphere of influence.
3. Pakistan was about to go bankrupt but these countries saved us like after 1998.(we do not have enough tax income)
4. These countries also do not respect Pakistan/Pakistanis and prefer Indians.People like Khalfan and Girgish( I call him Girgit)
Pakistanis pose a threat to Gulf communities, says Dubai security chief

5. I feel aligning with Turkey/Malaysia will make us more independent & educated. Turkey is already one of Pakistan's largest defence partners.

Never thought I would hear Peaceful, and Turkey in the same sentence.

Build up a strong economy, Elect people who are Pakistani's rather than slaves of Arabs or Persians .. Pakistan is not living up to its Potential , for various reason once its economy is stable, Security situation improves, than we don't need to pick up any side, we will remain neutral and no other country can or will blackmail us .

Never thought I would hear Peaceful, and Turkey in the same sentence.

Well now you did, so I guess your life purpose is finished ? what now ? look for after life ?

Actually what you are calling Moderate Islam, it is not as it is portrayed in our media and such. There is only one type of Islam, which is the true Islam of Prophet Muhammad saws.

KSA's Wahabbi origin is nothing but a reaction to the traditional Islam of the then ruling Turks and others like Persians. As such, a reactionary movement is only a short-lived movement. For all intents and purposes, the West is trying to portray KSA as a moderating and modernizing country, but actually it is only because they have surrendered their sovereignty fully to US and are doing PR for Israel.

Turkey under Erdogan follows the same Islamic spirit as us, which is that of idolizing Ghazis (warrior saints and rulers) and Sufi preachers, who connect us with our glorious past. Pakistan is a successor state to the great Dilli Sultanat, Ghaznavis, Ghoris, Mughals, and Durranis. Nostalgia of our past gives us a kind of dynamic and spiritual practice of Islam and a mindset that we are defenders of Islam, which KSA and UAE do not have.

As for Malaysia, it is a country which is being swamped by Non-Muslim minorities who quite literally have taken over influence of the nation. Although they brought economic prosperity, they changed the Islamic character of Malaysia. In an area surrounded by Non-Muslim neighbors and powers, Malaysians are on a quest to recover their glorious Islamic past, power, and independence. In this way, Mahathir represents the same resurgent Islamic spirit as Erdogan and Imran Khan.

I know it was not the intent of your post, but I just wanted to clarify that one point.

The Muslim world is in 2 camps.
You have autocratic dictatorships like KSA and UAE.
They want the world world order where Muslims are subservient to Zionsist.
Keep in mind, the USD is only the reserve currency of the world because in the 70s KSA declared that they will only accept USD for oil. Of course this is part of the US/Zionist hegemony.

The other camp are the more democratic Muslim countries represented by Turkey, Malaysia, etc.
They want to modernize Muslims and develop them in their modern world. They want to bring prestige back to Islam. Part of that prestige is to break from Zionism's hold. They are a threat to the dictatorships of KSA, UAE, etc.

Pakistan needs to fix it's economy, develop it's modern industry and give the dictators the middle finger.

OIC needs to be killed and replaced by Democratic Muslim nations.

You are trying to make Haleem out of this situation. Maybe you forgot that Turkey is a secular country. Anyone can buy and drink beer, there are Bars and dance clubs and open prostitution. RAKI in particular is a significant part of Turkish food culture.
Maybe this is your version of modernize Islam.

We have plenty of faults in our country, we have skeletons in our closet too. Let us not point fingers at another country until we fix our own moral failings.

Country doesn't change overnight, but Erdogan has worked miracles for Turkey.

What is moderate Islam"?
By not following Allah's rules and the Quran? By abandoning Hijab? The daily Prayers?
That's disbelief and Kufr, not "moderate Islam".

Islam is Islam, and you are a Muslim when you follow what Allah has written in the Quran. If you do not fulfill the obligations (requirements) that make you a Muslim, then you are referred to as a munafiq if not a kafir.

Now coming down to Turkey and Malaysia.
We can be independent with our foreign policy, when we don't need to beg the middle eastern countries for money.
Beggars cannot be choosers. When you want to get rid of their influence or rather control, then stand up on your feet and hang all corrupt from a peon to a top office holder.

The possibility that the US would bring 'democracy' to their country, if they ever ditch the USD for trade against Oil, is so scary for the Saudi monarchy that they will never ever consider even trying to oppose US.

In return, the US enjoys exceptional benefits because the USD is the global trade currency and the Saudi's continue with their anti-Islamic tradition of monarchy and kingdom. Same can be said of UAE too.
