How a corrupt judge in India Released her Rapist

. . . . . . . .
Well, the women who visit India, I have zero sympathy with them.. the ones who are born in India, they have all my sympathies..

.
Dare take this to Indian courts.

Not to belittle her suffering but probably she is confusing between conviction and charge. I guess the case is under appeal in upper courts. That notary shit is asinine though.

Give it a rest, she clearly says that he was convicted and sentenced to serve years in prison.
Stop defending the indefensible, you know this kind of shit goes on in India.

Under Indian law one can be considered for bail even after being convicted by the lower courts as long as he can prove he is not a flight risk and has a appeal filed in the higher court.

This is because there is a chance the higher court will set him/her free and the law is premised that its better to let a 100 guilty go free than put 1 innocent in prison.

Also this case is going to be notoriously difficult to prove since the "rape" did not leave any semen or other tangible evidence.

WHAT IS THE CASE?

The incident dates back to 2013. Rajiv Panwar, nephew of former Delhi mayor Jayshree Panwar, was arrested for assaulting the US-based woman. She filed a complaint on June 24, 2013 and Panwar was arrested earlier this year.

The complaint stated that the US-based woman was staying at a flat rented out by Panwar, with her husband. One night, after partying with them, Rajeev broke into their flat and digitally raped her (raped her with his fingers) while she was asleep. He was found guilty in February 2019 and was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment.

I know basics of laws and have fought many legal battles. You have to if you run a business. Trouble is this thread is more on emotions and feels than to appeal to reason. So be it. Carry on.
