What's new

Houthies mark the 7th anniversary of the war in Yemen by multiple attacks on Saudi Arabia

Retaliate?

Yemenis never targeted innocent civilians of Arabian peninsula. What retaliation you talking about? Yemeni nation is starving to death, and when ever they hit one missile at non civilian sectors of Sauds, people like you Start crying wolf. Quran says and asks us to hit back, never kneel to the oppressor.
its etherway talking to wall is better then talking to sectarian blinds because god make stamp and closed their ears and eyes .

houthis even killed Pakistanis and you are talking about others ?

.
yeah and what next ? saudis are bombing now saana and hadeeda oil facilities . saudi can recover from a storage site and rebuild it . can Yemenis do it ? the last hope is hadeedah port for yemen and anytime saudi f-15 can drop a jdam on it can yemenis stop them ? these proxy wars are most stupid wars of history specially for countries who became pawn in proxy war like Yemen Syria Libya Lebanon they are destroying own countries which were built in last 70 years of civilization .
First of all, it's not just a storage site. Aramco refineries have been hit too. And the damage is claimed to be extensive by foreign newspapers.
Secondly, do you think Yemen is an oil producing nation? How much do you think the Yemeni economy depends on the oil installations in Hudaydah? Yemen overall produces fewer than 10K barrels per day. Major oil exporting countries produce over 5 million barrels per day. Apples and oranges.
Bombing Hudaydah is rather a political statement than a military operation in response to the attack on the Aramco oil facilities in Saudi Arabia. And to be honest, Yemen made a stronger statement because it proved that it could reach any point in Saudi Arabia and hit precisely where they want and the Saudis cannot defend themselves against such attacks.

Houthies claim the attack was on Saudi oil facilities including refineries and I tend to believe them more than the Saudis because the Saudis claimed the fire had been distinguished only a few hours after the attack while there are independent videos that confirm the facility was still burning very brightly at night.

Secondly, 200,000 barrels per day? Where did you get this figure? Meanwhile, Yemen is suffering from food shortage and water stress since the beginning of the war and you talk about driving? Do you seriously think that Yemen's priority at this moment is how many cars people can drive? You haven't been following the news apparently.

Nice attempt at trying to score a point by bringing up an unrelated event, but nevertheless, they are incapable of defending themselves and the Houthies will continue to attack them to raise the cost of war. I'm not even going to mention the obvious that if you can't use your AD, then spending billions of dollars on your AD is a waste of time. At $120 per barrel, the cost of each operation like this will be enormous for the Saudis, in the order of billions of dollars, maybe even surpassing 10B. If they can't stop these attacks, they will pay a very high price.

So, the question is this now: Does Saudi Arabia want to continue a war that it cannot win and lose money at the peak of oil prices or will it accept a ceasefire and accept the new situation in Yemen? It's a losing game for the Saudis, but the sooner they choose the second option, the better it will be for the people of Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

there is no refinery in jeddah . its a metropolitan city sir refineries are in rabigh 160km from jeddah .
yes it was burning until morning because of storage massive oil
i did not bring unrelated event i just posted the fact .
nah it was first time since 2014 houthis were able to hit jeddah storage . last many times they failed and no they will not be able to hit it again daily . in fact high oil prices are helping KSA as they will export more . shear with us if you find saudi reduced oil supply to international market . i think saudi can keep this war you better asked a question can yemnis keep fighting ?. lets be honest here yemen was not a paradise nor it will be last 70 years they have massive civil wars . i fear even if saudi led war end yemnis will keep fighting civil war. the issue is education and human development here simply otherwise whom with sane brain fight a proxy war of others and destroy own country ?.

BTW they carry guns like candies and they fight like uncivilized societies do
1962 to 1970 civil war
1979 civil war
1982 civil war
1994 civil war
2004 civil war
2006 civil war

Saudi Aramco Refinery

F52J+FCX, Petromin, Jeddah 22411, Saudi Arabia

Could you please stop guessing and rely on facts? Just because Jeddah is a metropolitan city does not mean that it cannot have oil refineries.
The point is not that it was burning until morning, the point is that the Saudis claimed the fire had been distinguished just a few hours after the attack but that wasn't the case.

They successfully attacked Saudi oil facilities in 2019 as well. How can you not remember it? You were a member on PDF back then and it was a huge news as well.

Yemenis can keep fighting for a long time. They have nothing to lose. The fact that oil prices are at a peak now translate into a higher economic damage when a Saudi oil facility is hit.

Don't waste your time sir. Don't you think that the whole World could be bought by Saudi oil dollars. There are free people around the world who know the Truth about this tyrant family that spreads its filthy Wahabi ideology and terrorism in Islamic world and among Muslim youth. This state sponsor of terrorism is a well known house of terror and your pathetic try to whitewash their savagery against innocent civilians of Syraq, Libya, Yemen etc is failed already.

Ask yourself, is it worth it to support a family of tyrants that has been funding terror in whole Islamic world? For what reason?

lollllz could you please check the attack site again ?

refineries are well secured after 2019 that is why houthis attacked oil storage as its no2 target . what you are talking is patromin company plant is 40km in south of attacked site . for god sake at least check the place where attack happen . its jeddah distribution site not any refinery . you are throwing arrows in darkness . site attacked is next to jeddah airport bryman area north jeddah not partomin lubiref south jeddah which is not even refinery its heavy oil plant of patromin lubricating oil company plant and its private company not aramco site .

yes as long as yeminis can keep dying they will keep fighting the day they will be educated they will stop fighting for others . you are right sir

That's not the point. The point is that your reasoning was incorrect. You implied that because Jeddah is a metropolitan city it cannot have oil refineries.

Yeah, throwing arrows in darkness that somehow end up hitting precisely where they should. They must be some magical arrows.

You mean the day they become educated they will stop fighting for their sovereignty and accept to become the protectorate of Saudi Arabia because Saudi Arabia sees them as their backyard?

if we just change the names same can applied on iran too sir . as we paksitanis say clapping happen from both hands . a single hand can not clap . dont you thin iram is equally responsible for sectarian proxy wars too ?

ok just for minutes calm down and think abdul wahab was dead on 1792 and his ideology was here ever since . what suddenly happen to 1979 that fueled the sectarian hell on middle east ? why 187 years of wahabi ideology was ok with iran until 1979 ? its simple after you both got oil money you start this mess .

So this is a proof that the Saudi's are dumb and stupid to interfere with such warmongering people.

Also the Houthis have all the right to retaliate against the invaders, I just hope they can do it on daily basis 🙏,

You are crying a river over few Saudi civilians killed by the houthis strikes, but you don't care about thousand of Yemeni civilians killed.

Don't tell me the "houthis hiding in civilians areas" bullshit, I'm not an alien from planet Mars ......

so for you a private lubrication company plant is now refinery ? this information is available online . as i said jeddah have no oil refinery now .since its became metroplolan city all the major plants factories and oil plants were shifted away from city . even jeddah electrical and water desalination plants were shut down and tranfered dozens of kms away . you can not run such toxic plants in your 2nd largest city .
do not argue for sake of argue please . it will not be an issue to admit you were just wrong .
