Hong Kong crowd chants "We are Hong Kong!" during Chinese National anthem for HK Gold medal winner

Can you read English?

West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943), is a landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court holding that the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment protects students from being forced to salute the American flag or say the Pledge of Allegiance in public school. The Court's 6–3 decision, delivered by Justice Robert H. Jackson, is remembered for its forceful defense of free speech and constitutional rights generally as being placed "beyond the reach of majorities and officials".
Law is law. Reality is reality. US would not be country full of conflicts if law is equal to reality.

By the way, why US has so much patriotism education in school meanwhile HK education system has zero patriotism education if HK shares same ideology with US? Have you ever thought about the question?

You're using junk paper to deny reality.

Hong Kong wins Gold medal in Olympics

Crowd then chants "We are Hong Kong" during Chinese National anthem.

:enjoy:

Posting your usual BS here. Do you have the GPS coordinates to proof that these few jack-arses were located in HK and not some film stage located in Hollywood, and these people are actually HK/Chinese citizens??

. . .
So obviously you admit that your threads and posts come out of hind side. Not surprising coming for an indian.

I guess you are an Indian since you can't read Chinese as the video mentions the Mall name

張家朗於花劍項目奪得香港歷史上首面男子金牌。上台頒獎儀式時,奏起國歌,APM現場噓聲四起, 其後市民集體大叫「We are Hong Kong」 直至奏樂結束。期間有人舉起港英旗。

This is the APM mall..not a Hollywood set. Use your eyes next time.

While waving the Union Jack.

Hong Kong should send them all to UK like what Idi Amin of Uganda did since Britain has issued them BNO (British National Oversea) passport and they think they are British citizens.

I am pretty sure UK will WELCOME them with open arms.

All 3 million of them and then cancell their China SAR citizenships. :coffee:

Meanwhile back in UK...
Has this something to do with what is happening in Hong Kong?
What is Boris Johnson government hiding?
Is it done to protect the Government's cover up?
The OSA is not for journalists alone as reported but generally applied to all British.

Although these rascal do not represents the silent majority but nevertheless a National Security threat to unity. The investigative team from Hong Kong Police should look into this.

What do you think will happened if all this happened in says UK or USA?

I bet Homeland Security will come knocking at 4am.

Hong Kong will need to enact more new laws.

Is it a well known fact that there are at least 13 states in USA which felt they do not belong in USA and wanted their own separated state.

Nobody in Singapore will ever dare to do that. These guys are not brave nor stupid.

They knew that SAR CE Carrie Lam is both weak and indecisive.

IMO she won't be getting another term. Look at how she is handling the affordable housing crisis for the masses.

She can't even overcome the administrative barrier in the layers of Government as established by the former British Colonialist Government.

This is unlike Macau.

Bull shi.t response as usual. This is what happens when you are blinded by hate, and probably get paid for this anti-china propaganda. These clearly are different videos with different timelines TIED together as usual. Just like many other fake videos from typical US and UK media.

HK newspaper:

File photo.
It was understood that police are now looking into the crowd booing China's national anthem in a shopping mall, which was played after Edgar Cheung Ka-long won a gold medal in foil fencing.

Large crowd gathered at apm, a shopping mall in Kwun Tong on Monday to witness Cheung made history and brought home the second gold medal of the city.

Yet as Cheung stepped on the stage and the China's national anthem was playing, crowd at the mall started booing.

Some shouted “We are Hong Kong!” while others echoed by clapping. Some even flew the British Hong Kong flag.

It was understood that police have already initiated an investigation and officers will collect evidence including footage from security camera.

Legal professionals said the incident could contravene both the National Anthem Ordinance and the National Security Law at the same time.

They added that the large crowd, in black shirts, chanting slogans that stress Hongkongers' identity while the anthem was playing, was an act of advocating Hong Kong independence.
