Hockey: India beat Pakistan to lift Asian Champions Trophy
India won the tournament in the its inaugural edition in 2011 after beating Pakistan 4-2 on penalties. Pakistan won the tournament in 2012 and 2013.

India topped the round-robin stage with 13 points while Pakistan finished third on 9 points. India had defeated Pakistan 3-2 in the league phase.
In the semi-finals, India overcame South Korea 5-4 in penalty shoot-outs after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time. In the second semi-final, Pakistan beat hosts Malaysia 2-1 in penalty shoot-outs.
