I watched hobbit 2 last night and I have to say, I was very impressed.
Now granted that it was not as action filled as Lord of the rings, but it was amazing nonetheless.
Those of you whom watched it, what did you think?

Legolas and Thranduil gets some more lore love in this and we learn why the dwarfs and elves hate each other so very much. :). We get to see the ring corrupt Bilbo and Gandalf's character evolve from a wizard to the warden we felt in love with in LOTR.

Personally i am a big fan of the series, I practically grew up on the books. So a big 5 thumbs up from me.

So you read the book? I personally have not and from what I hear, those who read the book claim it's very different than the movie.

I laughed quite alot in that scene with gimili's dad and legolas.

My verdict: Incredible.

For me, the Hobbit 2 beats the previous films including all of the LOTR.

It was not as action filled as LOTR but the dragon scene and sauron scene was beyond epic.

It's great to see middle earth lovers here!!!

Going to see it tommorow...i'll be back with a verdict, altough i'm sure i'm going to love it;.

I envy the fact you have not seen it yet. You will love it. It was best film I saw in 2013.

It was epic(no pun intended)! Would love to see movies made on silmarillion after this...

But somehow I felt the orcs have been shown too big and muscular they look like Uruk Hai...

Yes that scene with Gimli is amazing...:P

And yes the books are very much different from the film, but that is to be expected. :)
