Pakistan is not bending but China's all weather friend, this India will never understand. India sure not bend but hiding behind other's flag because It feel insecure and need foreign power to comfort them. As for China we haven't lost anything: during the cold war, US had always the hostile attitude, India at Ravji time was not friendly to China neither but at least now we gain Russia from foe to friend to secure our northern border, our situation can't be worst then 1970s.

As for India, cozying with Russia's foe and you will expect to pay a price maybe Russia didn't explicitly express their unhappiness but your government certainly get the strong message from Russia and potentially lost your traditional Russia ally. In this world there is no permanent friend nor enemy only permanent Interest, it seems that China-Russia have seen a common interest to forged and consolidate their strength not to be bend to US like India did.
