BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said Unesco’s recognition to the historic 7th March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a matter of joy.
“This recognition is a matter of joy,” the BNP leader said.

Fakhrul’s came up with the remarks at a programme at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity this afternoon when the ruling Awami League was holding a rally to celebrate the Unesco’s recognition to the historic speech of the Father of the Nation.

He, however, criticised to the authorities concerned for reportedly closure of all schools and colleges for joining the rally.

On October 30, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) recognised the Bangabandhu's historic March 7 speech as part of world's documentary heritage.

Unesco Director General Irina Bokova announced the decision at the Unesco Headquarters, Paris.

According to the decision, Bangabandhu's 7th March speech has been included in the Memory of the World International Register, a list of world's important documentary heritage maintained by the Unesco.

If UNESCO was active in the 19th century.

Mir Jafars speech will also be a heritage. Smh

Mr. Mirza Fakhrul of BNP is a direct descendant of Mir Zafar. But, he is playing courageously against the AL duplicity.

. .
What irony
Another irony of history involves another of Mir Zafar's direct descendant, Mirza Iskander, one time President of Pakistan. He was ousted by the Punjabi-Pathan military clique of Pakistan Army led by Ayub Khan in 1956. This history cannot also be erased.

Good that they did.

Your racist mentality went Imran Hashmi with India in 71.

History will repeat itself but this time there will be an actual genocide and Pakistan will not utter a word on it.

Now go joy over that. Filthy traitors can only write a filthy history of betrayal.

Some killings by drone strikes happen in Pakistan. Although Pakistan doesn't utter a word on it.

Don't be so butthurt. It was also your history of unconditional surrender. That too was the biggest military surrender after WW2.

The surrender strategic blunder would only be valid if Pakistan was any other country of the world.

People rebelled against the state of Pakistan. It was decided that we will not face Kashmir like situation in Bangladesh. The state of Pakistan only has one fundamental issue with India and it will not risk regional disharmony by oppressing people.

We don't believe in holding out a land mass whose people don't regard us as their own.

We are a nation. You are just an ethnic fact of nature. Only India can provide you such morality so you chose them.

You are ill advised to keep poking Pakistan for your internal problems. Distorting history to make out a boogeyman in Pakistan will bring you little if any attention.

It was decided that you wanted you soldiers back alive. Not in body bags.

Time to hold a plebiscite in Baluchistan then?

Then don't pay attention. You are just paying attention to what BD pm is saying. It is our history. And it is up to us how we see it.

You are something made up. We are what we are by nature.

We can start any day with Kashmir.

And we don't leave ours behind for the sake of a piece of land.

You maybe nature. But nature has a self healing cleansing mechanism as well. That is called Pakistan if you are an Indian or Bangladeshi. So know your role and do your own thing that is banya giri.

. .
Saw it and defeated it. Any new mechanism?

Defeated?

Lol dude declaring a war as a sovereign country and rebellious takeover of power is different.

I admire your patriotism it's no different than any mob in 1933 or in South Texas or lurking in Stockholm under norsk mythology.

You come and go and nations shape you.

People worry more about climate change and its effects on the subdabans than any of you lot in the international politics.

Once that Neanderthal become a human. Start talking oh wait you deevolved successfully.

Your condescending tone as a guest on this forum is a testament to that
