Great, If you have worked in HAL then I have worked in DRDO and each and every person in this forum is a scientist... Great.

^^ one of my friends elder brother has worked in DRDO. He was K-level there. I dont know the seniority level but I guess it is not that of a senior level ( A being the top most i guess). He left DRDO due to the sheer amount of politics there and last I heard was doing M.Tech from IIT Kanpur after giving GATE exam.

I have sat for DRDO internship test/interview and believe me it was a tough nut to crack but as far as the work culture is concerned, my limited experience says it's not good.

Believe me.... Even corporates have politics, its upto the individual on how to handle it... Of course govt Offices are a curse to work in by itself but I would personally think twice before having let go such an esteemed and noble job.

In my air force SSB i have seen many were ready to quit there good job to work with air force
Few day before i got called by air force that i passed EKT test and now i can go for my medical test as last step . .
And i m ready to quit any job . .

After my bachelors in mechanical Engg I joined HAL, worked there for 2 years and then I came to US for my Masters and now I am working on My Ph.D. HAL has it's inadequacies, but here people blow it out of proportion.

The production may double in next year if such a pace is maintained....
Very nice to see such boosting of aircraft production in India..
