Obama isn't a ''bad'' person. I'm sure he's the type you could sit down with and have a cold (or hot) drink with and have good, civilized and even humoured discussion. He's just a politician trying to win his second term. Remember that when you are in that position of power, you want to retain it for however as long as you possibly can --even if means going against principles and conventions you ''promised'' you would deliver on. Here's a scenario:

You are swallowing the tea party sputum without even tasting it. What about Obama is socialist? Ensuring health care for everyone? Or is it progressive taxation? If the absence of a general healthcare scheme USA's ranking in the UN human development index will fall down. Life expectancy will come down. Infant mortality will rise because the lowest rung of the society can never be able to meet its own needs.

That vanilla story you told is not Obama's version of socialism. Obama's America will not see averaging of wealth among its people. It will(if the conservatives let it happen) just provide for a bare minimum safety net for the poverty stricken.

Imagine what will happen in the next recession? If you lose your job and house in a recession and government does not care about you(after all your argument is that government should be out of your business) and you get some life threatening ailment, where do you end up?
Sure there may be some lazy bums in this world who will be satisfied with two meals a day and a half bed in a sh*tty dormitory. But that is not what all humans will want to do. Why else do rich people still want to earn money? Obama will probably just provide those two meals, healthcare and the shitty dormitory for all Americans as an option.

For all I know Obama is the right to the position of an average American. And the few things he promised are watered so down, I agree with you, to call him sissy, even p*ssy. What was his achievement?
1. His full health care plan?
2. Kashmir solution?
3. Palestine peace?
4. How he showed his *ss to get bi*ch-slapped by Netanyahu?
5. How be brought any change in how US treats muslim world?
6. How much did he compromise to get the debt ceiling raised?


If Rick Santorum wins, we at least know what can happen and be prepared for it. But with p*ssies like this, its just a waste of hope and a Nobel prize.
