What's new

Hindus not allowing Christians to pray in Palampur, India!

That has nothing to do with their dream coming true

They're already living the dream, dancing partially-clad on a sunny beach!

Hard to sell them a new dream!

I guess it's fine that way, better that bad memories remain repressed, even if you have to feign ignorance of it.

You're the expert, considering you hail from the Rape Capital of the World!

To someone living in the anals of Hindu caste hierarchy, an Abrahamic religion, with its promised equality, ought to sound like a dream come true!
Its a numbers game for that lot. These tribals and ultra poor aren't really in to the spirituality etc of any belief system. Vatican payroll pe hai sab... Bas ricebag dedo

If you think so lowly of these lower caste people, why keep them in your circle of faith? Why do their conversions matter, especially when they're willing to quote/unquote "sell" their faith for basic commodities?

Personally, I don't think their problem is mere hunger. It's how they're treated by the society, by the members of their very own faith and religion. It's got to take a bite out of your self-esteem.

I'd surely start to have doubts about my faith if other Muslims start treating me like a third-class citizen. Not saying casteism doesn't exist in Pakistan, but it's mostly a non-issue that's only raised during marriages, and even then, it's rarely a 'deal breaker.'

Christians should be allowed to pray!

Even the mighty count Tepes Dracula was once a Christian and prayed
