It is something every political party in India goes about saying.

It is quite true that we should consider terrorists to be individuals without any religion but we must also realise that they are religous fanatics.

So religion does play some role in motivating these individuals.

The fact of the matter is that a substantially large portion of the Indian population be it Muslims,Hindus,Christians,Sikhs etc are very tolerant of other communities.

Tolerance is a way of life in India and these individuals are mere exceptions.

So i fail to understand where is the civil war u are talking of?

This is another post that exaggerates things.Terrorism is an issue,it has caused some tensions but not something that is tearing apart India as u are saying.


Btw,If reports are to be believed then these alleged terrorists were also targeting certain RSS leaders because they felt there has been dilution of Hindutva agenda by recruiting Muslims into the Sangh parivar!!

Theres much more going inside INDIAN UNION then you think. Open rebellions/gender discrimination/caste discrimination/religious discrimination, if all these cannot tear a country apart, then what ever can?

Dont u wonder that it has been going for 60 years and we have only grown!!

That shows despite all this we can be together, just like Pakistan is still together despite having Balochistan resistance, Pashtun rivalry with government, Shia-Sunni ideological differences,etc.

It's people like u and me that still want our countries to be bound, which are holding it together.
