Because it is not permitted. It's simple.

Hindus can afford to revert. As you repeat, hindus dont make distinction between Allah swt and your 'God'. So why not accept Islam. Both families would have united.

Muslim family should have raised their daughter in a manner that she would have never had any relationship with someone from hinduism in the first place

And if she wants to get married to a hindu then they should have cut all relations with her and let her go become hindu or atheist or whatever

Very sad. Hindu should have converted to Islam, otherwise parents should have let their daughter go to be a kaafir. Very simple.

This is not just a matter of two differing religious.

Don't honor killings happen in Pakistan, done among Muslims??

The brother of the woman simply wanted to control the life of the woman. If the woman's lover was a Muslim I think the result would have been the same.
