Even if for argument's sake, let's assume that Hindu taliban is in making in india. But it's not going to succeed. Why? coz majority of Practicing Hindus do not subscribe, nor relate culturally, to the orthodox and aggressive Hindu mindset that these fringe elements try to impose. Hinduism is so fragmented and so diverse in its reach, its rituals, its dieties and cultural practices, it is impossible to superimpose one single line of thought across all practicing Hindus. There is no faultline to exploit.

What is more of a possibility is reduction in vocal-ness of moderate voices, and maybe a bit more assertive voices against appeasement of certain sections of society - a discriminatory political motive which makes majority feel they are being subjected as second class citizens. You will find more hindus abusing modi than those who abuse Owaisi. But you will never find a muslim praising Modi, for example. This sow the seeds of suspicion. Why would we remain moderate and raise the issues of other communities on their behalf, when they are insensitive to our sensitivities.

I don't really understand why some Hindus rant about special treatment to Muslims whereas it is the muslims who are at the bottom of the development index. Either these Hindus are Dimwit to not see the obvious or they are too ignorant to realise this.

Truth be told the extent of radicalism amongst their 800 million + population is yet to achieve critical mass.

If you are shaping your opinion chiefly through these unverified videos from the internet, then you will find solace in the wisdom of the fanatics.
Mutual respect between religions is a good-to-have virtue for Pakistanis but is a must have for us Indians because of our ground realities. If Pakistanis become hyper intolerant of other religions tomorrow, it won't register so easily as your minorities are very small in numbers and most crime will go unreported. There are fewer NGOs working for religious emancipation and laws favoring the majority religion are enshrined in your legislation.
While in India, a small perturbation in our religious dynamic equilibrium has a profound impact in how we are looked at.

I have a hypothesis and I am sure you will disagree - based on a simple fact that people in India interact with more people from other faiths on a day to day basis than Muslims from Pakistan interact in their daily activities, and because we do not have laws in the legislation favoring any particular religion, people from India grow more tolerant than people from Pakistan in their lifetimes

5 Including 9-Year-Old Girl Attacked By Cow Vigilantes In Jammu And Kashmir

Srinagar: At least five people including a nine-year-old girl have been injured in an attack by 'gau rakshaks' or self-styled cow vigilantes in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident took place when a nomad family was moving with their livestock near the Talwara area.
They were intercepted by a large group of gau rakshaks and beaten up.

The victims say the attackers took away their entire flock including goats, sheep and cows.

The injured have been shifted to hospital. Police say an FIR has been registered and five of the attackers have been identified. There have been no arrests in the case so far.
