Islam as political force was spread through conquest but the inhabitants were not forced to convert to islam as a religion.

In fact the Umayads were removed from power by Abbasids because they wanted to prevent converts by holding on to the pool tax. Umayads was unhappy with convwrts as it would mean less tax income. The main powerbase of Abbasids were disgruntled Mawali; muslim converts, mostly from Persia.

Egypt and Persia did not become muslim majority until the 1200s and to this day there are a significant coptic Christian element in Egypt.

So keep those lies for yourself. We have nothing to be ashamed of. Islam liberated the converts of the Subcontinent from Hindu apartheid. Its a religion that in principle make no difference between rich and poor, ethnicity and dosent recognize class or cast. Only thing that matters is actions and piety.

India wants to be secular by having equal laws for everyone , which unfortunately some sections who have enjoyed all these years are finding it difficult to adjust.They will adjust eventually.

Jinna asked for a separate country for all the Muslims of the subcontinent, every Muslim from subcontinent has right over Pakistan, I am sure if Jinnah was alive today he would have allowed any Muslim who wants to come to Pakistan, but the only issue is no one wants to go even when given the option.

The problem today is non Muslims in India have started asking why should Muslims be treated special.
